welcome to ACA, and i hope you're enjoying your time here! if you've noticed, we have a welcome post already pinned to the front page that contains lots and lots of great information and helpful links, so be sure to check that out! but even though we already have a welcome post up, a database is also an excellent way to keep our community organized! this, in a few ways, is quite similar to our welcome post, but this is focused more on ACA/amino and what features/opportunities you have access to whilst in the app, and some helpful information to help get you started as well!

DETAILED GUIDELINES POST

here's a quick summary of a few key points:

we would like for a.c.e amino to always remain a welcoming place for both old and newcomers, and to do so, we have to treat each other nicely. of course, we have no problems with this— choices are a family, after all! :cupid:

▷ no promoting personal sns [instagram, facebook, twitter, kik, kakaotalk, etc.] UNLESS it is a.c.e related! :raised_hands:

we would like for you to ONLY promote social media that is a.c.e related. for example, a.c.e meme s, a.c.e updates, a.c.e translations, a group chat for voting, etc. and please don't spam with this either! one post should suffice! :raised_hands:

this has been a rising issue in our community recently. if you'd like to promote your amino community, PLEASE A LEADER OR CURATOR FIRST. also, as this is a k-pop community, we'll only consider allowing you to promote similar ones!

▷ do not claim ownership over art, writing, edits, etc. that do not belong to you! :bow:

we haven't had too many scenarios of this in our community [at least not that we're aware of :sweat_smile: ].

items that full under this category include: hate symbols, discriminatory images, inappropriate photographs of people and animals [even if it is meant to be artistic], etc. don't hesitate to me if you have any questions! :smile:

▷ if using curse words, please include a warning in the beginning of your post. if the words are extremely foul [please refrain from using them, but if you must,] block out a few letters with asterisks [*] and include a warning! :warning:

some may be too young or sensitive to foul language, so let's be considerate~ additionally, offensive racist and discriminatory ones are prohibited.

to help you navigate through and have a fun experience on amino, our staff is here to help! if you're still fairly new to ACA or the concept of amino, here's the jobs of the leaders and curators! additionally, to learn more about amino and its features, i recommend checking out this page, or just me!

leaders have the power to:

• disable a post or public chat and delete a comment or chat thread

• add, remove, or posts on the front page

• add, move, or remove posts in topic categories

• approve wiki submissions

• submit the amino to be listed

• team amino

• change the amino's features, navigation, and appearance

• adjust the amino's privacy settings

• manage the amino's requests and send invites

• add and subtract curators

• give strikes and ban from the amino

• manage flagged posts

• edit s’ custom titles

• manage topics and wiki categories

• send a broadcast

additionally, one leader in every amino, usually the creator, is designated as the leader*. this leader* is the direct point of with team amino and is the only one who can appoint other leaders.

since this isn't an official amino community, let's have our lovely kathy explain what the welcoming committee is & their job!

The welcoming committee is here to greet new choice here in ACA! We want to make this a warm place where everyone feels at home, and the welcoming commitee is here to do that.

Aside from greeting people, we’re here if you have any questions that need to be answered about A.C.E. and this amino :heart:

as the event team isn't an official amino community, team amino doesn't offer an official explanation for its job, so let's have our lovely jae take it away!

I’m Jaelinh, a member of the event team along with K, Lexa, and Fanta! The leaders of the event team are Christine and Silver, and together we make challenges or contests for the community!

Every month, we will put together a new challenge or contest, and through doing this we hope to keep the community interactive and social, while also to help get closer with the community. :3

We’ll have a mix of both individual and team challenges as time goes on, and will not forget to occasionally ask for suggestions, advice, or ideas to involve the community further. Each idea will be thought through and we hope to improve and learn from each event we have, and that the community will participate together with us!
