Bonnie & Clyde is a musical with music by Frank Wildhorn and lyrics by Don Black, and the story Ivan Menchell. The world premiere was in La Jolla, California at the La Jolla Playhouse in November 2009, starring Laura Osnes & Stark Sands as Bonnie & Clyde.

The musical is based on the lives of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, the infamous lovers and outlaws whose story is still told today, since they achieved folk hero status while on the run during the Great Depression.

The La Jolla production was followed by a Sarasota, Florida production in 2010, then starring Laura Osnes & Jeremy Jordan as Bonnie & Clyde.

The musical debuted on Broadway in December 2011, still starring Laura Osnes & Jeremy Jordan.

Sadly, it closed after just four weeks, with only 33 preview performances, and 36 regular shows.

It was nominated for many awards, including two Tony nominations, with Laura Osnes being nominated for best actress in 2012, and Best Original Score by Frank Wildhorn.
