Every second-year student gets a pet before Legacy Day during a ceremony in the Enchanted Forest. The exception is if they are from Wonderland and transferred from Wonderland High, since the Wonderlandians have their own pet ceremony.

Since the pets come from the Enchanted Forest, they are connected to it, and stay there while the students are at school. They also can’t travel too far from the Enchanted Forest. Therefore the Enchanted Forest becomes a popular hangout for students on their lunch hour to spend time with their pets. The pets have a magical connection to their owners, and can sense them. For example, the pets can sense if their owner was leaving the Ever After High castle.

Name Meaning: Since a duchess is referred to as “Your Grace”, she was named Grace.

Communication: Alexandria cannot understand Grace’s noises, however she can guess and interpret general facial expressions and whines.

Speech: Grace cannot speak human language

Grace is a calm dog, she doesn’t jump or bark loudly. She likes to follow around Alexandria and go for walks.

Appearance

Grace is an American Cocker Spaniel. She has dark brown eyes, a black nose, and soft fur that varies in shades of warm brown.
