I finished Rev

Spoilers for Conquest and Revelations route for Fire Emblem.

Yeah I didn't have it that much, I honestly still think Conquest and Engage is more frustrating writing wise. I did like the way this route started off with Corrin, Azura and Felicia all on their own against the world. I always kinda love those parts of Fire Emblem that's also my favorite part of Engage when you're weak and barely scrapping by. But I could still say some of my problems with it.

I can start with Camilla and Takumi, with them I think they could be handled better. First with Camilla instead of making her try to kill Corrin, it would make more sense for her character to try to take him and convert him to Nohr again. And with Takumi I just did not like how he just ed Corrin so easily after playing Conquest. If you don't know Takumi gets possessed by Anankos in Conquest and dies I just think it would been much more powerful to have Takumi possessed by Anankos again but instead of it being too late he actually gets to be saved by Azura's song and lives.

It would also make his struggle more engaging when he actually get to fight Anankos I would imagine he would get something to say when fighting possessed Gunter. And also yeah Xander being a ive big Brother through all of Conquest and then completely turning on Corrin on a whim in Rev was tonal whiplash at best. This is also awakened me to more ideas how a potential Fates remake could fix the original game. Like for example give Kana more s, and have s with Conquest and Birthright characters.

Also a huge issue I found later on in Rev was that the dragon form was weak compared the the Yato so perhaps give Corrin a way to upgrade his dragon form to be a little more on par with the Alpha or Omega Yato. I would also to Corrin a Ninja or Mage class based on his Heroes alts, but still let him be dragon since I find that dumb that he loses it if he changes different classes. The Valla stuff was interesting I guess, But poor Scarlet she died the second chapter you unlock her which feels especially awful since she gets brutality murdered by Hans in Conquest. I swear Scarlet is the Maude Flanders of this game. I might also want to stop to say I'm a big fan of the way Hosidian Male Corrin looks.

Maybe that's because him being barefoot is a little obsured everything else in the design but I like it. I was surprised that Lilith didn't do anything though. But hey at least she's alive this time, that's something. Also the moment my Sumeragi said to Corrin he shouldn't rely on his sword and instead he has a stronger power he crits his dragon hand that was so damn cool.

This was the first time I actually started to upgrade my units I suck at this series lol. I really want to play Path of Radience one day but it looks I need to play more Modeen games first but actually try to constantly upgrade my unit's class lmao. But overall I did have fun at least with Rev, but that probably mostly just because I like Corrin because Cam Clarke voice and cool dragon powers. But also I hope it isn't implying Corrin is stuck in living Valla for his whole life.
