What is the ‘Welcome Committee’?

The Welcome Committee is a curator led initiative to create a more welcoming and accessible environment for new (and old) of Furry Amino.

Who can the Committee?

This time the Staff Team will be accepting regular all s that meet the requirements to !

We want everyone to come together on this endeavour, as an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends as our Community continues to grow!

How do I ? What are the requirements?

Though *not* a Staff Team position, the process will be quite similar to that of applying for a Curator role, albeit with different requirements.

The requirements are as follows :

- Having an at least 60 days old.

- Being level 10 or above.

Those that meet the requirements and wish to apply should fill out this form . The selected applicants will then be interviewed for the position!

Please note that being a Committee Member does *NOT* make you part of the Furry Amino Staff Team and that this is *NOT* a moderating position.

What are the responsibilities of a Committee Member?

The selected will be tasked with welcoming s as they , inviting them into the official welcome chat!

They will also be added as cohosts to that chat and it’ll be their responsibility to ensure the chat remains friendly and that all its follow our Community Guidelines.

All will also receive the following title:

Code of Conduct.

Though this is not a position, Committee will have to follow similar rules and guidelines as the Staff Team does, as well as the rules of Furry Amino themselves.

are expected to:

- Not violate Furry Amino rules and guidelines.

- Follow the Welcome Chat’s rules.

- Respect the Staff Team’s decisions regarding the Committee and accessories.

- Not discriminate on anyone, no matter the circumstances.

- Not show favouritism towards s in any shape or form.

- Not to minimod, but to properly report any rule-breaking behaviour to a Staff Member.
