Minecraft

Minecraft is a sandbox game relesed on the 18th of Novemer, 2011. It is a popular game made of 3D blocks which the player can interact with. The player is placed in a generated world where they can cut trees, mine ores, kill animals and craft items. As a sandbox game you can do whateveryou want, but it has bosses (such as the Ender Dragon and the Wither) for players to defeteand get items you can only get from defeting those bosses. From building epic bases and killing dragons, to taming wolves and making automated farms, Minecraft has something for everyone.

Terraria

Similar to Minecraft, Terraria is a sandbox game relesed in 2011 made of blocks, but that's about where the similarities end. Terraria is a 2D game that is foucsed on adventure, combat and building. The player is placed in a generated blocky world with a NPC that will help guide the player in the first stages of the game. There are many caves the player can go in to get ores and resources to build bases and craft items. There are many enemies the player can fight, including 33 different bosses. After defeting the bosses the player will get new materials they can't get anywhere else which will unlock higher tier items to craft.
