Getting to know Willow's shapeshift forms.

Willow is a strange gal for sure, at the age of 15 her parents died in an accident at work and she was forced to take over for them as her parents often explained only to her what they were working on and what their goal was, besides becoming a paleontologist at the age of 15 her job besides finding and rebuilding dinosaur remains was also te explore the posibilites of other human races, which at the time didn't seem like a red flag..

However Willow enjoyed the rebuilding of dinosaur remains the most, it had always something to guess about it's appearance which left alot of responsibility on the researchers and artist who tried to visualize the way the creatures looked.

The world of paleontology can be relentless, there's quite a bit of fights about certain dinosaurs visualizations being accurate or not.

Willow's love for anything related to dinosaurs influenced her forms she'd take on after gaining the abilities to shift into other creatures.

I'm here to introduce you to some of her most used forms, so that you yourself are able to better visualize in what Willow looks like when for example she shifts into an Acrocanthosaurus. As it seems that alot of people are quite unknowing of less popular species.

Utahraptor ostrommaysi

"Utah's Predator"

You may recognize the look of the Utahraptor of the movies Jurassic Park and Jurassic World where they are wrongly named 'Velociraptor' which is actually a smaller dinosaur of the same family tree called dromaeosauridae. In modern movies and games, they are however often depicted as scaly dangerous lizards, this was however found out to be quite wrong; even the biggest of the dromaeosauridae the Utahraptor had for sure feathers, it was mostly used in making sharp turns in highspeed chases.

Utah raptors are very agile hunters, they weigh about 300 to 1000kg, grow to be about 1.8 to 2 meters tall at the shoulder and is able to run about 25 to 30 mph. (Which is about 40 to 48 kmh.) It is still under discussion wether they hunted alone or in packs; what they do know is that they mostly hunted quite large herbivores, such as Parasaurolophus.

Acrocanthosaurus atokensis

"High spined lizard"

Acrocanthosaurus are one of the biggest apexes of the early cretaceous period. Some specimens were around the size of a Tyrannosaurus rex or larger. Despite its size it was fairly speedy. The Largest size of Acrocanthosaurus known to this day is 3.4 Meters in height, 12 meters in length and weighed about 6 metric tonnes. The 4000 to 5000 psi bite force is sure scary.

Dilophosaurus wetherilli

"Two-crested lizard"

Dilophosaurus is many modernday art is depicted as having frills and being rather small, again examples of that are Jurassic Park and ARK: survival evolved. It also seems to spit venom for some odd reason, which is far from what the dilophosaurus really was.

Dilophosaurus was about 7 meters in length, weighed about 400 kg with a hip height of 1.4 meters. Have excellent night vision, which means that it mostly hunted at night.

Allosaurus fragilis

"Different Lizard"

Eventhough Allosaurus is fairly unknown to the general public nowadays, it was quite popular back in the day it was first discovered. It's skull was light and equipped with dozens of sharp serrated teeth.

It averaged about 10 to 12 meters in length, weighed about 1000 kilos and about 2.25 meters in height at the hip.

Spinosaurus aegyptiacus

"Spined lizard"

Spinosaurus is another quite popular dinosaur, however with the latest discoveries not many people are aware of it's current looks.

Some years ago there was alot of speculation if spinosaurus was actually an aquatic dinosaur as back then the reconstruction of the bones was faulty, the fin on it's back was wrongly reconstructed as well as the tail. Recent discoveries make clear that Spinosaurus had a paddle like tail and that it's sail was not as rounded as we thought.

Spinosaurus can grow a maximum of 15 to 16 meters long, weighs about 6.4 to 7.5 metric and would be around 4.3 to 7 meters tall. And with a bite force of 4,200 psi it isn't a creature you'd want to mess with.

Hyperendocrine Spinosaurus

Hyperendocrine Dinosaurs are designed by mankind to be absolute tanks, designed to kill. These species are NOT REAL dinosaurs, they originate from the game the Isle which can be found on the steam store.

It is unknown how large the creature actually is but, the Tyrannosaurus Rex seems like a puppy compared to this thing.

Fun fact: it's lower jaw can split in two.

Deinosuchus rugosus

"Terrible crocodile"

Deinosuchus is the second largest crocodilian species ever known to exist, it is only beaten by the Purusaurus brasiliensis.

With the help of its sheer size and incredible jaws filled with teeth for crushing it was able to take on and kill a fan favorite dinosaur; The Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The modern salt water crocodile have the strongest bite of any living animal with a bite force of about 16,414 newtons.(3,700 psi) While it is estimated that the Deinosuchus had the bite force of about 18,000 to 102,803 newtons.(23,100 psi) It is argued that even the largest and strongest theropod dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus Rex had bite forces inferior to that of Deinosuchus.

Deinosuchus was able to grow to the inmense size of about 12 meters (39 ft) and weighed about 8,5 metric tonnes.
