Greetings Marvelites! My name is Cody, and welcome to the Iron Man Manual, guide to let you know the basics of playing as Iron Man in the Marvel's Avengers Game. With some minor spoilers not related to the main story, but the amount of time the character is in the main story.

Iron Man, also known as Tony Stark is included in the story for about an hour and a half. Making him the character with the 2nd largest amount of playtime in the main story. 2nd to Kamala Khan. This makes it so that you level up quicker. Leveling up? What's that? Let me explain.

Depending on how much you play them, characters level up. Allowing you to get higher power gear. There are two forms of progressing. Power, and Levels.

Levels are basic. They have a cap of 50. Meaning the maximum level you can reach on any character, in this case, Iron Man, is level 50. You can level up by killing enemies, which the amount of Experience your character gets (XP) does not vary between difficulties.

Power is a little more complicated. Characters have a Power cap of 150. The way to get here is by attaining gear. Gear has perks and gives your character defense bonuses, ranged attack bonuses, melee attack bonuses, and so on. You can use different materials you find on the Battlefield or in chests to upgrade the level of your gear. Raising your overall power. Some gear has 5 maximum upgrades, others have 10. There are also artifacts. Three, in fact. One Major Artifact, nd two Minor artifacts. Major artifacts alone raise your power level by however many you can upgrade it with. Minor artifacts serve similarly to regular gear. They also come with perks.

Gear can range in how good it is, there are ratings, 1-5 star ratings. There is also some color coded hear that can be better than one another if you choose carefully. Here's the hierarchy of Gear in general for all characters. (Top is highest. Bottom is lowest)

Exotic (Red) = Best

Legendary (Golden/Yellow)

Epic? (Purple)

Rare (Blue)

Uncommon (Green)

Common (Grey) = Worst

What Iron Man is For

Iron Man essentially controls the sky. He takes out aerial enemies and helps the team as their bird. Even though Thor can fly too. Iron Man devastates all in his path with his hulkbuster suit, he does a ton of damage with his unibeam, and has a ability that overloads his power allowing him to shoot, blow up, nd laser things for as long as it lasts.

He has Rockets, Regular Repulsors, and Lasers. Rockets do the most single damage. Lasers chip away at health slowly, and repulsors look cool and iconic, while destroying your light infantry enemies. Iron Man just deals as much damage per second as he can spamming all his abilities. Which s his entire team, giving them covering fire.

Conclusion.

Iron Man is an overall team player while still working amazingly by himself.

Thank you for coming here. If you want a more advanced version of this, which will be a continuation of this, please leave a comment to let me know. I will NOT be making a poll. So the only way I will know is comments.

This has been Cody. g off.
