Growing up in a household with six older brothers, it was adapt or die for Alyx. Her mother wanted her to be a lady, to wear dresses and ribbons, and play with dolls, but Alyx preferred to play in the woods, getting mud on her hands while chasing after her older brothers. She wasn’t born with her abilities, but they manifested when she was eight, much to the shock (pun intended) of her family. They were ive, but as her neighborhood had a lot of anti-mutant sympathizers, they cautioned her not to use her newfound powers in public. At around twelve, as her abilities continued to grow stronger and more uncontrollable, she was approached by Charles Xavier, who offered her a place in his School for Gifted Youngsters, a mutant academy. Her parents accepted, and Alyx’s adventure began. Once she turned eighteen and officially “graduated” the program, along with her girlfriend Lydia, she ed the X-Force. At nineteen, during a mission gone wrong, Alyx was gravely wounded, and on the edge of death. Doctors gave her hours to live, until a representative of SHIELD came forward with an offer. Alyx’s technopathic abilities made her the perfect candidate for an experimental procedure that could save her life. When Alyx woke up, three months later, she was changed. Over 40% of her body had been replaced by cybernetics controlled by her technopathic abilities.,
