༺ Inspiration ༻

My inspiration for making Jay was John Walker. I’ve absolutely loved the character since around 2014 when I started reading one of his comic series. I feel that his character is a lot more gritty and connectable in a way. So that’s why I made Jay. To have a gritty, flawed character that does what he thinks is right.

༺ Childhood ༻

Jay’s childhood was like most other children, full of school, sports, etc. but he always suffered from anger. His father said he was a lot like him when he was young. Jay always knew his dad had beyond normal strength. But what he did not realize was that he had those “powers” as well. How he found out was after school the boy had punched a few older kids that were making fun of his friend. His rage was almost primal as he beat up the boys and gave them multiple serious injuries. But his punches were so strong for a young boy. So Jay soon started “training himself”. But soon, as most parents do, his father found out. John was actually happy to know his son had some power. From then on they would train everyday and he would be forged into a warrior for America.

Jay’s adult life was mostly just military service before his father gave him the mantle of the US agent. After that he served America in a different way. Look, Jay was no Captain America his morals were different but he tried his best. After about a month or so he got used to being an Anti-hero. Some people loved him some hated him. But people’s opinions of him didn’t matter. His job was to protect innocents no matter the cost. If that meant killing so be it. His work was not as widely known as some other “hero’s”. But Jay was okay with that. He’s the one that does all the dirty work.
