Rory Louise Campbell was born in Montreal, Canada to a Haitian father and a Filipino mother. Life wasn't all that easy, they had a lot of money.. however, the parents choose to spend it on themselves and their eldest, which would be their son. Not to mention, his parents fought a lot and often neglected their children half the time. Rory’s sister and brother eventually moved out because they was tired of having to stay up until 4 in the morning listening to their parents bicker and fight other something so small and simple. Due to the constant neglect, by the time Rory was 13 he was dealing with an alcohol addiction that was off and on. The neglect of his parents also left Rory in a depressed state. Bayani and Rosaline would often take Rory for long periods of time, getting him away from all of that chaos that went on with their parents. Unfortunately, the neglect left a huge mark on Rory. It was a negative outcome. Rory’s parents found out about his alcohol addiction and screamed at him, they kept saying it was his fault when it really wasn't.

Rory snapped, everything was a blur. The next thing he knew he was standing over two bloodied bodies of his parents, holding a knife in one hand and a bottle of wine in another. Unfortunately, Bayani and his newly wedded wife had came over as a surprise and the first thing they saw was the parents lifeless bodies on the floor and Rory in a drunken state, sipping on wine. It was a horrific sight, Bayani fainted and his wife caught him. Rory felt a mix of emotions in the moment, he felt like shit. Yet he felt like he did the right thing. He was overcome by so many emotions of which he wasn't familiar of, and it showed. Bayani didn't want to tell the cops what happened and his wife wanted to, so they argued about that for a couple of weeks. Rory started to live with his sister and was an emotional wreck since. Both Bayani and Rosaline found out about the alcohol addiction and they just wanted their younger brother to stop before he killed himself. Yet, they faced constant gaslighting and manipulation.

It was a surprise that Rory was actually able to graduate highschool, but he couldn't get into college. He sort of became a disappointment in his family, an outcast because of his addiction. He was now 18, and he and his sister moved to New York. Rory also decided to try and get sober, so he checked into rehab. 28 days later and he came out as good as new, but he was still scarred from his parents neglect. On a brighter side, he was starting to come out of his depressed state from which he was in during his horrible life in Canada. Then, he got diagnosed with bipolar & depression. And then got put onto antidepressants. Sometimes, he goes into depressed states and turns to alcohol in seek of help to deal with the depression. Thus, why his addiction is on and off. By the age of 20 he's mostly off with his addiction and uses better & healthier coping mechanisms to deal with his depression. He picked up cooking as something to do for a hobby or just if he's feeling down and needs something to help with that. Though, due to his sort of traumatic past he has trust issues and usually dismisses anyone whom he deems uninteresting and shady.

Rory decided to look for a job to help with the rent since money was tight and their parents cut their children from the will. He was recruited to be a HYDRA volunteer while being unaware of their background and what they was gonna do with him. One night, they came and kidnapped Rory while his sister was asleep and tested on him. He was reported missing since then and was tortured and used as nothing but a mere test subject for HYDRA. Then, it happened. A test went wrong and it granted Rory the blessing and the curse of controlling the weather. He was only aware of this when he got upset and caused a thunderstorm in the cell areas where he was in. Using this to his advantage, he managed to bait the security guards to get him out the cells and then beat them up before stealing their equipment and running away. He used his abilities to get out, he caused blizzards, small hurricanes and tornadoes so that he could escape. And so he managed to escape and successfully made it home to his sister where he was almost presumed dead. As for jobs, he got hired as an assassin for a mafia in town called ‘Broyeurs de crâne’ which was a french mafia located in New York for the time being. The mafia’s undercover hideout was a diner called ‘Flurite’. Flurite was a popular diner in New York actually. Since it's a diner, Rory can lie to his sister and say he's working at a diner when in reality he's an assassin under the name of Weatherine.
