            Custom to Banshees, she has paler skin than most. Her eyes are a regular brown and she has a diamond shaped face. She has dimples when she smiles, and it isn't uncommon for her lips to be chapped.

                 She has naturally dark hair, and it's not easy for her to dye her hair. She attempted to bleach it once but that only caused her hair to fall out. She has naturally wavy hair, but occasionally she'll straighten it or curl it to dress up.

             She has a simple rectangle body shape, not many curves to her body. She usually wears baggy clothes to make it seem like she does have curves, but she doesn't care much.

                 She is about 5'9, which makes her look older than she actually is but she doesn't care. She enjoys being tall. In weight, due to being skinny and not having much muscle or fat on her, she's only 130 lbs.

       g e n e r a l

            Personality wise, she is pretty distanced from others. She's always friendly when she can be, giving smiles to people who seem distressed or waving at those who've she's had conversations with before. She doesn't usually start up conversations on her own, but she is willing to carry a conversation after it's been started. Large groups concern her, but she finds it easy to connect with people when it's one on one.

                 1. Cats. She's always had a cat in her family home and to her it seems like they can also see the dead, for whenever she spoke to them, her cat would sit in the room and meow at the spirit.

                 2. Lemons. The smell is very nice to her, and the taste is a nice mixture of sweet and sour. Almost anytime she goes shopping, she makes sure to pick up one.

                 3. Colored Pencils. Drawing is definitely not a strong suit of hers, but whenever she has nightmares (which spoiler alert is a lot), she likes to draw it out with a pack of colored pencils, then burn the paper. It calms her.

                 4. Cartoons and Sitcoms. A lot of older shows with basic 2D drawing animations always makes her happy. She loves comedy in comparison to other genres. Sitcoms are similar to cartoons, just live action.

                 5. Rings. She loves having something to fidget with on her fingers. It adds to her style when she wears a lot of jewelry, but rings at her favorite.

                      1. Sleep. Going to sleep usually results in nightmares, so she tries to avoid it when she can. She takes short naps during the night, but makes sure that she always has alarms to wake her up throughout the night in order to prevent dreaming.

                      2. Cooking. She dislikes making food herself, since she's not great in the kitchen. If other people cooked for her, she wouldn't dislike it.

                      3. Math. Self explanatory.

                      4. Skirts. Once again, she only dislikes it on herself. She can't stand wearing skirts since she doesn't like her legs being exposed. If other people wear skirts, she doesn't care.

            She'll have a smile on her face and a cheerful attitude if you talk to her. Bright eyed and cheery stereotype.

                  She doesn't show it, usually just not as bright or cheerful as usual. She'll probably have eye bags under her eyes that are more visible than usual.

                      She rarely gets to the point of true anger, but when she's annoyed, she'll blatantly ignore you or speak out against you. When at a typical anger, she pushes herself away from you, not wanting to blow up on you or something. If she's at her true strike of anger with someone, her banshee power takes over and she'll let out a high pitched shriek, potentially killing whoever she's angry with.

                      3. Jewelry making. This is mostly for spell work too. She'll take jewelry she already has and she'll add stuff to it to make it fit the vibes she wants for that period of time.

                 1. Tilting her head. In thought, she always tilts her head. In confusion, she tilts her head. It's just something she does unconsciously as a reaction.

                      2. Fidgeting. She always messes with the rings on her fingers or the bracelets on her wrists. Whether she's bored or active.

                           3. Covering her mouth. Whenever she eats or laughs or coughs or anything that requires opening her mouth aside from talking regularly, she covers her mouth.

             Hurting people. She learned of her power to kill people with nothing but a scream, and she became scared of herself, so she took lessons from the internet in calming herself so she'd never get to the point of screaming like that.

                      2. Being trapped. Her species is treated like monsters, and a fear of hers has always been that she'll be trapped and captured like a monster.

They are always about the same situation, only slightly varied depending on how her day was and who she spoke to during the day. She always has nightmares of herself killing people, or an evil, darker version of her coming out of her and ripping everything she loves to shreds.

vi. B A C K S T O R Y

       p a s t

            When Thalia was a child, she had parents who didn't give her any love or . In fact, they were abusive towards her and often blamed their money problems and bad situations on her since she was "a spawn of satan" with the powers of a banshee. They used to beat her, telling her that she deserved it anyways. Afterwards, they would apologize and try to make things up. But the cycle continued constantly. When she grew older, she understood that the beatings were wrong, and she tried to tell them off but it didn't go as planned.

             They screamed at her, telling her how she was nothing in their eyes and how she was to blame for every bad thing in their lives. That argument resulted in her screaming at the top of her lungs, shattering every reflective surface nearby and killing both of them. They bled out of every hole on their face, and the image of them both in pure terror or her scarred Thalia's mind forever. Ever since that night, she's had nightmares of that moment, and she told herself to just keep quiet from then on out.

              She kept seeing her parents after their death. They would show up at night, usually yelling at her for killing them, but this time she could tell them to go away, and they would. It wasn't until she started seeing other people that she didn't recognize, that she realized she could speak to the dead. The spirits of dead people ended up being more friendly with her than her family, and she enjoyed most of their presences.

              She knew her gift was very rare, but she also knew it was cause of her species. So she didn't tell anyone, and instead she always made sure to greet the spirits she saw with kindness. She found out that she could send them gifts with her power, so she would go out and buy certain requested things for them with her parents money.

                 She ended up moving to an entirely new town, entering a new school and keeping to herself. She has a pet cat that seemed to be the only thing that didn't die in the accident with her parents, and he's the only creature she truly cares for now.
