Power Description:

Thomas is able to ‘invert’ himself, causing him to travel through time at his own pace while the world around him reverses. Every time he does this, however, there’s a chance he could run into another version of himself, so he has to be careful.

Drawbacks:

Coming into with his own atoms will destroy him, and due to the inverted world, he’s required to wear a gas mask to travel outside when Inverted.

Aesthetic:

High class agent, but doesn’t always act like it. Wears mostly suits or Dark Academia style clothing.

Normal- A simple suit with the shield logo somewhere, like on his tie or suit jacket.

Inverted- A dark blue and black themed outfit with a gas mask attached to the front and a tank on his right side. He has holsters for weapons, and a bright blue arm band he can switch out for red so people know if he is inverted or not. (Inverted is blue, red is normal)

Being able to invert means he can heal certain wounds through time, but he brings a medical kit in his backpack for most missions.

Backstory:

After his Team was assigned to a mission to infiltrate a HYDRA base on the outskirts of the Alps, Thomas Sage stumbled upon a large round machine with a wall splitting it through the middle. Curious, he took his torch and gun and slowly began to investigate, trying to discover what HYDRA could’ve been using this for. Suddenly, one of his Teammates switched on the power, causing the machine to come to life. As the door twisted round and the machine began moving it caused something to happen inside Thomas’ body, giving him the abilities to ‘Invert’ himself through time. When this first happened, he found himself moving backwards through time for 5 days, having to find out the hard way that lungs wouldn’t take in Inverted oxygen, and fire and ice worked in opposite ways, but once he had it fixed he had to return to SHIELD and explain that in 5 days his mission would lead to him becoming superhuman. At this point in time, 2 Thomas’ Sage’s exist. Thomas isn’t sure how many versions across time now exist due to his missions.

Marie Anne Sage and George Sage

Both we’re SHIELD agents in its early days, and George died in a battle abroad when Thomas was very young. His mother raised him, and they lived quite a wealthy life. Of course, Sage never tried to take the money for granted, and spent his younger years trying to help people. He went to a private school in Canada for most of his teenage years, before ing SHIELD at 17. His mother ed not long after he enrolled due to a heart attack, so he continued fighting for his mother and fathers memory.

Marie Ann Sage~

Marie was a kind woman who worked mostly in the tech departments of SHIELD. After her husbands ing on a OP mission abroad in Malta, she took full responsibility with raising Thomas to try and steer him away from the life of SHIELD. However, he was skilled, and despite her best tries he enrolled and was soon accepted by Director Fury. She died, proud of her son no matter what, a few months later of a heart attack.

George Sage~

Less is known about Sage, but he worked in the mission operative side of SHIELD. He fought for them, and led a lot of recon missions. When his son was born he tried to distance himself from work, however it was simply impossible, and one small, simple mission ended with him getting killed.

Personality~

Thomas is a kind man, and despite his facade as a rich, powerful boy fit to wear the crown, he was actually quite insecure.
