Adrien dumped his over-exhausted body over the cushioned divan. It was a LONG day with dealing with his languages, fencing, piano lessons, and more photo-shoots to to the citizens.
His eyes threatened to close, but he wanted to stay awake so that he could sneak out again. Being Prince Adrien Agreste of Northern was difficult during the day and being Cat Noir at night gave him some freedom to do what he wants.
His ears rapidly picked up the sound of a soft thud near his room. What was that? A robber? A murderer? Adrien's superior hearing felt the slow movement of the intruder's footsteps. It seemed to sound like a single, petite person was walking nearby.
It was coming from his balcony that was attached to the outer side of his room. Adrien grabbed a random vase that was lying around in his room; dunked the white daisies out and thrusted it over his shoulder so in case the intruder was going to attack; he was ready.
Adrien circumspectly examined the ghastly shadow of a silhouette as he or she came closer and closer. He reached for the handle to unlock the glass-door that separated the mysterious person from him. Click.
Adrien cautiously placed his feet in a defense position as he slowly shifted his feet to move forward.
At first everything seemed normal. He didn't see anyone at first glance. The balcony was smoothly, polished marble and a golden tinted wall separated him from falling nearly five stories.
The outline of the balcony was filled with splendid, red roses in small, potted hedged decorations that surrounded it. It brought back the still intact memories and moments of his mom and when his family weren't broken. Mom. Adrien relaxed and placed the case beside him. "It was probably just my imagination." He said aloud.
A tap on his shoulder sent his nerves ricocheting through his brain. In less than a second, Adrien had whirled around like a hurricane and punched the figure as hard as he could. Breathing heavily, Adrien opened one of his eyes; only to find out what horror he had bestowed. "Ladybug?!"
I am so evil! Lolz. Don't worry, you guys aren't the only ones who hate cliffhangers! Until next time my adoring kittens! Bug Out!
