What Are YOUR Thoughts?

I came across this tweet and here are my thoughts-

I would cry.

genuinely though, this would be so very sad yet interesting because it would make /sense/.

And the more I think about it, the more it DOES-

I mean, seriously- think about it.

Superheroes? Tiny creatures that cameras/tech can't see?? And these Magical creatures grant powers???

Like the genie in the lamp- ah, but /cooler/. Better. More...creative.

And Akumas? People getting infected by /butterflies/??? His father being the villain and Nathalie being in on the whole thing because they are the only two people keeping him from his freedom??? Of course his father would be the antagonist in his imagination. His mother not dead? That hope that she could come back?

Friends he can be close to? Other than Chloé, of course. Oh but wait- of ALL the hundreds of students, Chloé would be in his imaginary class because she's the only friend he's ever had! And sure, she would have this crazy power over the principle because her dad's the mayor- it makes sense- but it doesn't- which is why it DOES.

But these new friends. Friends who he could face time and go on class trips with? Friends who he can go to concerts with? To the movies?

And lastly- are you ready for this? Ladybug's magical lucky charm- fixing everything and making it go back to the way it was- a seamless reset button for when Adrien gets called down for dinner so he can think of a new adventure the following day.

This plot twist is so...accurate that it's scary. Because in reality, who knows, maybe Marinette truly is just the pretty girl that Adrien always catches walking past his house everyday.
