group of men big men in black suits walked as a unite down the long hallway with golden and black walls.

The men stopped and stepped to the side in unison with their backs to the wall and hands on their handguns.

The sound of high heels clicking against the floor and a knife flicking in and out came flowing through the hallway. An older man with grey and black hair walked next to a younger girl with long black hair. The duo stopped in front of the golden door and the older man looked at the guard in front of the door.

Markus Cassidy

"Is he in there already?"

The guard nodded and stepped to the side while opening the door for them. The man walked in while the girl stopped for a second.

Jinova Cassidy

"Thank you Jason."

She nodded at him before walking in. The guard closed the door and the rest of the men stood back in position.

Markus sat in his chair in front of large circular table. On the other side of the table sat a man with a bag over his head.

Cassidy stood next to him with her hands behind her back. Tilting her head to the side out of curiosity.

Jinova Cassidy

"Father who is this man?"

Markus puts his cigar down next to his knife.

Markus Cassidy

"This man blew up one of our money packages. I had my men bring him in so you can get answers out of him before I send him back as a message."

After Markus spoke one of the guards grabbed the bag over his head and yanked it off. Revealing a man who has already been beat. Blood dripped down his lip and his eyelid was swollen. Cassidy didn't seem to flinch at this site. She was use to seeing this kind of stuff due to her being a part of a dangerous and big time Mob family. Markus leaned over the table while grabbing his knife. Pointing it directly at the man causing the man to lean back in fear.

Man

"P-Please let me go! I can give you your money back I swea-"

He swung his knife at the man and cut his cheek.

Markus Cassidy

"I don't care about the damn money. I can get that back in less than a week. I want to know who hired you."

After hearing his demand the man shook in fear.

Man

"I... I can't tell you h-his name... He'll kill my f-fami-"

Jinova swung her arm up with her finger pointed out. Wrapping a flowing white string around the man's neck. It felt like metal wire that was thinner than a spider web.

Jinova Cassidy

"If you don't tell us his name we'll kill you and your family."

She spoke in a soft but evil tone. Like she had no emotions and no thoughts besides murder.

The man shook more in fear while trying to wrap his fingers around the string to move it so he could breath more.

Man

"Y-You don't under- aggh! Understand! H-He'll kill everyone involved!.."

Markus tilted his head while pressing the knife against his neck

Markus Cassidy

"You think we're scared of one man?"

The man began trembling unconditionally while looking into his eyes

Man

"Y-Yes.."

Jinova's eye twitched at his response so she yanked her arm back. Making the glowing string cut his head off. His head rolled on the ground as his body fell limp.

Jinova turned around and started walking to the door.

Markus Cassidy

"Nova!... What did I tell you about your temper."

He slowly looked over his shoulder at her before getting up from his chair and putting his knife away. She stopped but stood facing away from him while looking straight at the door.

Jinova Cassidy

"You told me not to kill unnecessarily. That man obviously wasn't going to tell us the man's name. He was slowing us down to find the one behind this, but your so stuck in your old ways that you didn't want handle business efficiently."

Markus scoffed while looking offended. Shoving his chair into the table while looking at her with a frustrated stare, but she didn't care to give any attention to his actions so she opens the door only for her to stop as he spoke again.

Markus Cassidy

"I've handled this business for twenty two years, and your still a kid. I would think that I know how to run my business efficiently without murdering needlessly. You don't understand the consequences of starting a gang war. People will come after u-"

Cassidy finally looked over her shoulder at her father before cutting him off to speak while keeping her hand on the doorknob.

Jinova Cassidy

"Then let them. See before I was born you had to play your cards carefully to protect the family and the business. Now that I'm here.. That changes. It's time for a new era father. I'm more qualified to take care of this family unlike you. You played the hand you were dealt, and your tricks and cards are getting old father.. But me... I can make any card I want. It's time you see that as they do."

She glanced at the guards before closing the door. Walking down the hallway with her high heels clicking the same way they were when she walked in.

Markus stood there in shock and anger. Clinching his fist before looking back at the headless man on the floor.

Markus Cassidy

"That little girl doesn't know what she's talking about.."

Guard 1

"Maybe she does."

Markus quickly turned his head to the guard in disgust and confusion.

Markus Cassidy

"Huh?"

Guard 2

"She's what the family needs."

Markus turned to face the other guard. This time with more confusion but a mix of worry. He cleared his throat before looking at them both.

Markus Cassidy

"What are you two talking about? Has she got you mixed in with her outrageous mindset?"

Guard 1

"No sir. We want what's right for the family just like you. Our loyalty has never wavered."

Guard 2

"But Nova has a point. It's a different generation of criminals. They've gotten smarter and stronger."

Markus Cassidy

"Are you trying to say that man was telling the truth?"

Guard 1

"Not necessarily. We're saying that maybe it's time to the torch down."

Markus Cassidy

"To Cassidy? That girl as no remorse or empathy for human life!"

Guard 2

"And look for far we've come because of it."

Markus scoffed before opening the door and slamming it behind him. He stood in the hallway for a second while looking down. Starting to second guess bringing her into the family business. He knew if he let this go on for to long she would burn the family legacy to the ground. He gave it his finally thoughts as a single tear slid down his cheek. He lifted his arm up to rest it on the guard by the door.

Markus Cassidy

"I want you to isolate Jinova.. And kill her..."

Without any further explanation he removed his hand from his shoulder and walked down the the dark hallway. The guard standing there in shock but immediately fixed his stance. He nodded at the other guards to make sure they understood the assignment.

𝟸 𝚍𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛

Jinova was sitting in the enger seat looking out the window on this rainy night. Having an almost dead expression with no emotion behind her eyes. One of the guards was driving her back the the mansion.

Driver

"Nova.. Are you sure you want to do this?.."

Jinova Cassidy

"What did I tell you about questioning me."

He clinched both hands on the wheel while leaning forward in a cowardly manner.

Driver

"Y-Yes ma'am."

The car slowly pulls up to the front of the mansion. The driver got out of the front seat and rusher around to the enger seat to open the door for her. Jinova stepped out and made her way up to the front door. The driver made his way to the back seat and pull out a large suitcase that seemed to be heavy. He grabbed the handle and quickly followed behind her. He went in front and held the door open for her.

Jinova Cassidy

"Thank you Johnny."

They both walked in after closing the door and made they're way to the dinning room. Hearing laughing and talking in the background. Jinova kept her hands behind her back while walking like a ghost down the hallway.

Markus Cassidy was smiling happily while having dinner with his family. His only son Terry Cassidy, and his Wife Michelle Cassidy.

Jinova Walked around from the corner with a cold look on her face. Markus froze in his seat in fear before dropping his fork on his plate.

Michelle Cassidy

"Honey what's wrong?"

Terry looked over and jumped after being startled to see Jinova. Shortly after Michelle turned her head to noticed Jinova as well.

Michelle Cassidy

"Oh sweetie your home? Your father told me you went on a vacation."

Markus had a shocking look on his face like he was seeing a ghost.

Jinova slowly walked over to the front of the table after ignoring her mother. Terry on the left side, Michelle on the right, and Markus in the middle. She looked straight at him from across the table.

Jinova Cassidy

"What's wrong father? Surprised to see me?"

Markus Cassidy

"W-What umm... I thought you were going on vacation sweetie?..."

Jinova Cassidy

"Well I got a little busy after killing all of the men you sent after me, but don't worry father I know you care about the family so much so I made sure to make it quick. They didn't have time feel the pain before they're heads fells off."

Michelle gasped and sat in shock before looking at Markus.

Michelle Cassidy

"H-Honey what is she talking about?.."

Markus Cassidy

"I don't know what she's talking about.."

Jinova Cassidy

"Don't play dumb father."

Right after she spoke, Terry quickly stood up and yanked his arm up with chains coming out of his arms and flying directly at Jinova's neck.

Jinova lifted her finger and black smoke flew up and wrapped around the chain to stop it. In less than a second after the chain stopped she lifted her hand up and shoved a bunch of smoke in Terry's mouth and eyes. Markus jumped up from his chair while Michelle sat there screaming, crying, and shaking. Markus quickly reached for the knife but was stopped after a ice ball flew to the table and froze his hand to the table so he couldn't move. Markus turned to see Johnny with his arm up.

Johnny(Driver)

"I don't think so sir.."

Jinova flooded Terry's body with smoke before suffocating him completely. Letting his body fall limp on the ground.

The room was quiet for a couple of seconds.

Michelle sat trembling and crying in fear.

Markus standing there stuck to the table.

Jinova fixed her hair while nodding at Johnny to come over with the suit case.

Jinova Cassidy

"I'm sorry you had to see that mother. I was hoping to finish this elsewhere but my brother jumped the gun. That's why he always fell short, but for some reason father thought he was more fit for the job than me."

She apologized to her mother but it didn't feel meaningful at all. She spoke with no emotion. No anger, sadness, or happiness in her tone. Jinova took all of the black smoke back in her body before standing up straight again.

Markus Cassidy

"N-Nova.. Please..."

Jinova Cassidy

"Please what father? Do you think I'm going to let you live after pleading for your life? Why should I? You weren't even going to be there for me if I was pleading for mine, but that's ok. Unfortunately now I have to kill you and mom."

Michelle jumped up after hearing what she said and tried to get up to run.

Jinova lifted her hand and shot a light beam straight through her heart.

Markus flinched and jumped back. Standing in fear and shock. Tears flowing down his face while breathing heavily before snapping and started yelling from across the table.

Markus Cassidy

"What the hell is wrong with you?! She had nothing to do with this!"

Jinova Cassidy

"She saw what happened today. She's a liability."

Markus Cassidy

"You've completely lost it! Your own family Nova?!"

Jinova Cassidy

"Family huh? What about me?"

Markus Cassidy

"Your not apart of this family! Your a monster! Nobody would ever follow you!"

Jinova Cassidy

"Interesting.. You couldn't be farther from the truth. See the family knows my true potential. They know that I am more fit to lead the family into glory. See if you some how managed to run away from me which is clearly very unlikely. But say you did. I had more than twenty men outside ready to fill you with bullets."

Markus heart fell to the core of the earth. He wanted her to be lying but he knew deep down that she was telling the truth. He slowly looked down while taking a deep breath.

Markus Cassidy

"So that's how it's going to be... What now... Are you going to kill me too?..."

Jinova Cassidy

"Of course I am, but just so you can rethink every decision you've made. I'll make it slow."

Markus quickly looked up and gasped. He opened his mouth to scream for help but before he could Jinova flew a flowing white ball into his mouth and down his throat. Causing him to choke. He panicked for a second but he stopped after starting to feeling like he was being sucked in by a black hole from the inside. In only a couple of seconds Markus was crushed into nothing but a red ball.

The room fell silent once again, but Jinova didn't waste another second and started walking back to the front door with Johnny following behind her.

Jinova Cassidy

"So did they find out who the man was."

Johnny

"We're not one hundred percent sure Ms.Nova. We have a couple of names but I think some belong to the same person."

They both walk back to the car. Driving off back on the high way again as if nothing happened, but this night changed her life completely. She now had full power of the family and inherited the most powerful quirk in the Cassidy family. She was somehow born with the Yin and Yang power. She planned to use this to take over the world. One state at a time and by any means necessary.

Jinova Cassidy

"So tell me your hypothesis."

Johnny

"I believe the two names out of the seven we picked up are linked together. Either together or the same person, but I believe it's one person due to the man you investigated states that it was one person. The names he goes by are Domino and Mr.Royal. Besides that we have no lead to where he could be. He somehow seems to be spotted all over the state."

Jinova sighed and sat up straight before getting on her phone to make a call.

Jinova Cassidy

"Mr.Royal huh?.. Oh well. It will only be a matter of time before we find him. Until then I want you to gather three hundred of our men and split them into even groups around the state. Until them I'll plan out our next move."

Johnny nodded and continued to drive them down the highway in the rain. Shortly after there were six more cars following behind them. Full with men ready to protect Nova with their lives.

Within a year Nova grew her family to be one of the top mobs in the state with more than forty thousands in the mob. Competing for the number one spot with the Royal Gang. This has been the longest gang war in history with an uncalculat number of deaths from both sides. This war got so dangerous that the government made a whole different agency filled with agents with quirks to perfectly fit directive work while still following the law. This has gone on for more than two years now. The only way this ends is with one of the leaders dead.

Nova on the hand did not plan to fall at all. It was the world or nothing.

She held her name with pride
