Now on Wattpad. Literally the whole story so far is up there, I just got out of habit of ing here.

TW: Mild bad language, violence, hot spring nudity, hints at homosexual relationships (if that bothers you for some reason.)

Word Count: 7272 (excluding Author’ Note ect.)

Time taken: 7 days

Summary: Time to set up for a new Tournament Arc. Don’t worry, no manga spoilers yet.

Author’s Note:

Before things start... I am an omnipotent body that can change the flow of the story if you so much as Go-Gos in my direction, so keep that to yourself. The original characters and base story beats were made by Horikoshi, I’m just relaying things in 1-B and making some changes to spruce things up.

Any correlation between the OCs and something else is a coincidence.

Hopefully you understand this before I piss you off in any way. Let me repeat that. This is my story; I am bored so I wanted to make something for fun, so fuck off if you get annoyed at me because I miss-measured the size of Re:Destro’s nose.

And before I forget, I’m writing this for my friends first so expect a few inside jokes that you won’t get.

So without further ado... I present the forty-sixth episode of Shenanigans In 1-B! WOO!

Denki was sent tumbling down some steps as the four of them's opponent stood above them. Atsuki was fighting with one hand behind his back, being forced to use Pressure alone. Pony was trying her best to use her horns in creative ways to land any sort of hit and Monoma was just trying to be an embodiment of their powers, but mostly failing.

"Is that all? Has my husband taught you four nothing?!" Youtei Kouhei demanded harshly. Nimbus had to run off somewhere earlier that day and had informed them that his wife would be in charge of instructing them. It just so happened that that instruction was being driven to a privately owned hot spring resort and forced to fight. The place they were brawling in showed signs of previous battle, so it was likely where the rest of the fights took place.

"Why don't they get to fight with us?" Atsuki asked huffing, nodding his head towards the group of Shiketsu students lounging nearby.

"Because Mother wanted to fight you specifically. Since the old man's training you four." Came the response from his elder sister.

"^It had to be a Sunday... and Sophie had to tell Jessie.^" He grumbled.

"No hot springs for anyone until I feel like you four have done enough." Mama Kouhei declared, bringing outcries from the second years.

"That's Hydraula for you." Jessica turned the page of her smut.

"I'm telling Kaikiban you're all gay if you lose!" Moroshi yelled down at them, getting a middle finger from Denki. A cackle was returned from the yeller, and middle finger right back.

"Focus on me." Youhei demanded.

"She's like your mother." Astralda said to Moroshi, "fierce, powerful, but she seems caring enough."

"Caring?" Sophie sat upright from her lounging chair. "She hit me with a newspaper because I didn't clean my room before she got home. Dad didn't do anything when he opened the front door either!"

"Probably because she wears the sleeves in the relationship." Soren pushed his sunglasses up.

"Have you forgotten that my mother is a Villain who's almost certainly killed people?" Moroshi looked to his girlfriend.

"No, just that they have similar personalities."

"Why are you boys bare-chested?" The shelled girl asked. "It's the middle of winter."

"Why are you still wearing yours? It's like... thirty degrees at this place. You must be boiling alive." Soren laid back, sweat glistening off his body.

"No thanks. You boys don't get to see my body."

"Killjoy. One peek, Konura?" He looked to her.

"Please you two, there's innocence here." Astralda spoke over the sounds of battle and Moroshi yelling at their juniors to get a grip.

"I hear worse." Sophie waved away the concern.

"I was talking about Rikishi." She patted the boy in question's shoulder.

"Thank you." He gave her a grin, getting a cute smile back.

"Atsuki! Is that really all you've got? I thought you were on par with Kaikiban? Give it your all!" Moroshi yelled, getting really into things. Konura got up and stood at the banister with him, her black shell glistened in the sun.

"C'mon, kids! I don't know any of you but you'll make a really bad first impression!" She yelled down to them.

"We're trying! But someone doesn't believe in holding back!" Atsuki not so discreetly nudged his head towards his mum.

"Maybe if you take this training seriously you wouldn't be struggling so much." Hydraula commented. "Phantom Thief, there's a plethora of different Quirks on that balcony, pick your poison. Rocketti, it seems like a straightforward approach doesn't suit you too well if your opponent is fast enough; learn to be tricky with your horns. Chargebolt, be more reckless against physical opponents. There're few things more intimidating then a fast guy surrounded by lightning coming at you. Blast, concentrate to an absolute point to get the most out of that half. Watch me fight you and replicate it." The four students were given instructions on what to do; easier said then done when Monoma went to copy the second years' Quirks, Jessica seemed to teleport away to across the area and Astralda floated the rest away.

Denki took the advice and let loose around himself, rushing down the woman.

"Good." Was the response, before she dug her feet into the floor and thrust her hands forwards, stopping him in his place.

"That's your move!" Pony looked to her boyfriend.

"Where do you think I learnt it from." He looked to her with an exasperated grin. His mother pulled her hands towards herself and pushed out again, sending Atsuki flying away.

"Oh shit!" Soren laughed at seeing that. "Damn, your mom's cool, Jessie."

"Yeah. She is." Kouhei Child One responded wistfully. "Atsuki's probably fine."

"He seems like the kind of guy to run into a wall at high speeds and get up completely fine." Konura twirled her purple hair, a sooty substance sprinkled off it.

"He has." Sophie chimed. "End of the U.A Sports Festival Race. Just straight up slammed that shit!"

"Language!" Mama Kouhei called up, picking Denki up with air and flung him down the steps again.

"But Atsuki swears all the time." She pouted.

"That's probably why then. You don't want to end up like Atsuki, do you?" Moroshi asked, his eyes and hair turned a devious yellow.

"Don't be mean to my brother!" Kouhei Child Three punched him in the arm.

"Ow?" Genyu Child One asked.

"Let's all beat up Moroshi." Jessica kicked his shin discreetly, taking advantage of her mother's distraction of other students letting her down to act out.

"Let's all calm down so we might actually get to use the hot springs." Rikishi suggested, raising his hands to the confronting comrades.

"Forgot about that. Why does your mom own a private hot spring anyway?" Moroshi asked the question they were all wondering.

"To take a break probably. You forget, my family's not exactly desperate for money. So a private resort like this comes with it." Was the response.

"The best I've got's a hot tub... and I barely get to use it anymore." Astralda formed a dark blue cloud next to her and reached her hand in, producing a glass bottle.

"Bit early to drink, Astie." Soren smirked.

"It's just unbranded cola."

"Doesn't matter."

The sound of thunder clapped into their ears and Atsuki was back with them.

"You really me flying, mother." He added the last but sarcastically.

"It builds character." Was the proud response.

"I thought I almost died. Especially when I saw Candice." The Shiketsu Second Years waited with baited breath. They didn't get the response they'd hoped for when Atsuki was slammed into the floor by a giant force of air.

"Good attempt. I'm almost proud of your generational jokes." Was the parent's response.

"Ow."

"One to ten, how hurt are you?" Pony asked, prepping her horns.

"Like... a four?" He got back up, just as two giant balls of lightning erupted behind the Kouhei Matriarch. Denki and Monoma had taken advantage of Atsuki's distraction, both going all out with Electrification. Atsuki jumped in front of Pony and encased them with a cloud.

"^Hey.^"

"^Hi.^" They were oblivious to the outside as they enjoyed their slight amount if alone time, so they missed Jessie casually putting up a hand and the rouge bolts going towards the second years were sucked into her body. It seemed as though everything BUT the target was doused in a volatile blanket of electricity. When it died down, and the two boys were dumbstruck from the overuse. She lowered a sort of umbrella that had blocked the attack.

"Thanks to only having one real leg, I get to use a cane without too many looks. And with my entire household being made up from loose cannon lightning wielders, I had this custom made to include a rubber umbrella. It's also hydrophobic." Was what she said, pressing a button on it and the umbrella folded into the shaft inconspicuously.

"That's cheating, whey!" Denki stated in his idiocy, his thumbs up.

"Whehehey!" Monoma went, also with his thumbs up.

"That's two down. I'll end it quickly." With that, the cloud containing Atsuki and Pony flattened, revealing the pair of them being held to the floor.

"What the..." Atsuki tried to get up from the floor, failing to get to his feet.

"We're being crushed?!" Pony exclaimed shocked at the feat of strength.

"I prefer to keep this attack under wraps because it's quite difficult to use constantly. But it is very useful in helping me restrain my enemies." Was the explanation. The crushing force lifted almost immediately after, signalling that that fight was over.

"Damn. Didn't know gravity was a pressure. But you were stationary when you were using your Quirk! I thought we need to touch things to get it to work!" Atsuki exclaimed, wanting an explanation from his 'mentor'.

"In due time. I can't teach you everything all in one go, you'd be overwhelmed!" Youtei Kouhei laughed to herself, "By the way, you're free to use the facilities for today. I was only joking." The was a celebration from the Shiketsu lot.

The rest of the day ed in apparent fun, going quite quickly. A day of rest and enjoyment is always needed. *And because there hasn't been a real hot spring moment in this story so far, here's one now.*

"This is the life." Denki slid down the rocks behind him, the guys and girls were separated. Obviously.

"Beats begging Kaikiban to heat the pool." Atsuki nodded, forming a little cloud formation over his head.

"You have a pool?" The tanned guy, Soren asked, sitting on the opposite end from them.

"We made it ourselves." Monoma swiped back his damp hair. "It was quite the fun little task."

"Sounds like it." Moroshi stretched, leaning back. "What're you U.A. boy's plans looking like for the foreseeable future?"

"What are you going to ask them?" Rikishi, mole guy, inquired suspiciously.

"We've got a lot of Work Studies stuff going on. It's kinda the reason we're here at the moment." Monoma explained. "So it's likely that from now until March."

"That sucks for you guys... not that we're much different." Soren chuckled to himself. "We were meant to be doing something similar, but Shiketsu's got other things to be worrying about at the moment."

"I don't suppose you can tell us about it?" Atsuki dipped lower into the water.

"We could, but we don't know what it is. It's kinda something that we know is going on, but we don't know what or why." Rikishi stated timidly. "Maybe it's something big?"

"Does Shiketsu West even have a sort of big event like U.A. does?" Denki played with his hair, the black bolt that was stylised into the side of his haircut didn't seem to fade in water.

"No. There are in school events, but nothing public or whatever. Kinda sucks, but it is what it is. Shiketsu is old-school. Moroshi and Astralda aren't even allowed to date... but they do so anyway." Soren explained. "But my knowledge of Shiketsu events ends there, I'm afraid. But your big sister Jessica might know a bit more, she is our Class President after all."

"Later. For now, let's get some karaoke going on lads!" Moroshi put his arms up, getting cheers from all of them.

The ladies were in a separate spring due to privacy reasons. Mama Kouhei was shining her metal leg in her hand, which wasn't scaring at all. The students were making polite chatter amongst them. Girl stuff. Pony shifted her attention to the parent and gathered the confidence to ask a question, the woman was kind of scary to her.

"^Um... Mrs Kouhei?^"

"What is it, dear?"

"If you don't mind me asking, how did you lose your leg?" There was not a response for a few seconds as the woman looked thoughtful.

"Gosh, that was eleven... twelve? Years ago." She stated after thinking. "There was a mission that my husband, brother and I went on with many other Heroes."

"The... Outback Monstrosities?" She took a guess, surprising the responder.

"You've heard of what happened?"

"Atsuki told the tale at the Summer Camp. Used it as a horror story." Pony went on, getting a sigh.

"Of course he did. Well, it is true." Mrs Kouhei slumped back and rose her stumped leg out of the water. It cut off halfway down her thigh. "It was either that or dying, and I wasn't about to ruin my family. Because believe it or not, I love them. No matter how exhausting."

"^Aww, mom!^" Sophie splashed over and hugged her.

"That's nice to hear." Astralda smiled to Jessie, who played it off.

"I knew deep down we weren't complete disappointments."

"Do you really think I'm that harsh of a mother?" Mama Kouhei asked her eldest daughter.

"Yes." Sophie stated blandly.

"Okay, maybe with you." She nuzzled her youngest's white hair. "But that's because I don't want you to end up like how your brother was."

"I get that. But he's changed, can you?"

"No can do, Soph. You want to be a Hero someday? Then I've got to teach you properly."

"My parents were the exact opposite." Konura began, discreetly eyeing Astralda's ample, floating bust. "They were pretty chill and laid back, except that they put their foot down when I said I'd enroll into Shiketsu West. I did so anyway and haven't regretted it."

"Don't live with regrets. Some will hang over you for the rest of your life." These were mystic words of wisdom from someone who likely has the experience of backing them up. *And if you know the stuff about the Kouhei family... you can guess what it is.*

"I won't. Konura shuffled up next to Jessica.

"My father was all for it!" Astralda laughed. "Said, 'Chase your dreams! You could catch up to me some day!'"

"My brother said those same words over thirty-one years ago." Youtei Kouhei said wistfully. "When I was deciding what I wanted to do with my life."

"I just wish mum was here to see me though." The busty girl brought her head to the surface of the water.

"Is she..." Pony left it open-ended.

"Gone? Yes. I don't think Dad ever fully recovered either. It was to natural causes, she just... died one day."

"I'm sorry for your loss." Rocketti bowed her head in apology.

"What are you apologising for?" Astralda smiled kindly, cupping her face. "I'm fine talking about these things."

"You made things all dreary!" Sophie complained. "Let's liven things up!"

"How do you propose we do that?" Jessica rose an eyebrow to her sister, her hand under the water felt out for Konura's.

"With some more fun talk!"

"No fun. Only school." Konura smirked at the fourteen year old, but the smirk was at finding Jessie's hand. "You've been really secretive lately, Jess. All those meetings."

"Ugh. Tell me about it. Apparently being recommended by a former top ten and being 'top of my class' gets me to be Class President. Unbelievable that they gave me that role." Was the responded rant.

"I always forget you were a big time pro with Dad." Sophie poked her mother.

"t Number Four with your father." Came a nod.

"C'mon, back to the meetings, Jessica." Fireworks Girl bumped her shoulder.

"I really can't say. It's a secret project." The Class President tried to calm her friend.

"Naaw. It's just us, three of us don't even go to Shiketsu."

"While the other three do. I'm sorry, Uracoki-chan I can't."

"Fine." Konura threw her hand up and out of the water, revealing the laced fingers between her and Jessica. Everyone looked to it.

"Are you gay, Jessica?" Her mother asked sincerely.

"Maybe..." She responded sheepishly.

"You two scold me for being with Moroshi, and yet here you are." Astralda put her hands to her underwater hips.

"What's the big deal of it?" Pony asked.

"We're technically not allowed to have relationships at Shiketsu. But as Moroshi's elegantly put it: 'fuck that. I want to fuck you.'"

"And has he?" Sophie asked quickly, seemingly excited over the reemergence of a 'girly' topic.

"Yes." Jessica and Konura answered for her. At that point, male voices sounded throughout the springs. It seemed to be singing.

"^Almost heaven, Weat Virginia. Blue ridge mountains, Shanendoa River. Life is old there, older than the trees, younger than the mountains, rolling like a breeze.

Country roads!

Take me home!

To the place!

I belong!

West Virginia!

Mountain mama!

Take me home!

Country roads!^"

"I'm from West Virginia." Pony noted, happily bobbing her head to the singing. One voice stood tall over the rest, and thankfully, it was very good.

"And Soren's singing again." Jessica sighed, letting go of Konura's hand. "And before you ask, we are not together." She glared at Sophie.

"Are you sure?"

"It's a breach of policy, she might get a detention." Konura winked to the girl.

"Ah."

"We're not being put to sleep." Pony realised, blinking with wide eyes. "I thought that Soren guy puts people to sleep with his singing." The Shiketsu girls looked to her like she was crazy.

"He needs to activate his Quirk before he can put people to sleep...? That's how Quirks work." Konura said slowly, sounding slightly patronising.

"Oh! I just thought it was a ive Quirk. Is it like your firework powder you produce, Uracoki-senpai...? Was that the right honourifics?"

"Right honourific and no, my powder making is ive. But I can consciously choose what gets made. I had to completely shed all of it to get into the spring." The second year explained, her obsidian coloured shell was gleaming from all of the water. "The activation part is when I combine the different powders into explosives."

"Can you feel stuff on your shell? Or are you locked in a tomb of being unable to feel human touch?" Sophie leaned in intrigued.

"The segments have nerve endings. So yes, I can feel."

"You can feel when Jessie-" A fast moving bolt put a stop to her as the girl was shocked by her sister... which was extremely dangerous since they were all submerged in water.

"Jessica, don't electrocute your sister in the hot spring." Hydraula chided.

"I know." Was the response. The singing from the boys nearby ceased for a few moments before they resumed with a different song. One about staying at a youth hostel and being a 'young man'.

"Should we in?" Astralda asked, curling her white hair.

"No. Let's do something less... engaging." Jessica stood up in the water and stretched, stepping out and covering herself with a towel.

"Don't look, Uracoki-chan~" Sophie went on with teasing her sister, instantly getting a small flash getting set off in her face from the living artillery.

*The next Wednesday...*

Jessica was walking down a hallway in Shiketsu, going to the same room she'd been to a number of times for the past couple of weeks. After turning a corner and reaching her destination, she pushed open the door. A few other people were there waiting.

"Afternoon, have we started?" She said, setting herself down next to a boy covered in thick, shaggy, light brown hair.

"Hello, Kouhei-chan." He nodded. "We're just waiting on one more now, then we'll begin. Correct?" He looked to the teacher at the head of the table.

"Correct." They nodded in turn.

"Now we just wait for that third other year representative. I don't see why we shouldn't start without him." The girl opposing Jessie folded her arms with a scowl. She had turquoise eyes and wild dark green hair. A sharp spiked patten extended from the edges of her eyes to her hair. Dark green patterns wove down her bare arms, her uniform jacket resting over the back of her chair.

"Because that's not how things work. Rules are rules, unless you're Genyu Moroshi tread the line extremely well." Jess rested her chin on the desk.

"He's another issue entirely." Shaggy Man stated.

"I hear his brother isn't so bad. Apparently he makes headlines with the Lurkers." The teacher recalled.

"Don't care. He's trouble if he's a Genyu." Sharp eyes leaned back with her arms folded. "I doubly believe that now because the parents turned out to be Villains."

"Watch your mouth, Kaizou-senpai. Those are my friends you're talking about." The eldest Kouhei sibling gave a warning glare to her senior, crackling began to sound from her body. A nasty sneer was sent her way and the patterns along Kaizou's arms began to emit a dark substance.

"Oh yeah, Kouhei-outsider? Don't think I haven't noticed the way you look at that girl you spend your time with. And the way she looks at you. Have you been breaking the rules?"

"Both of you, stop." Shaggy slammed his fist on the table. They stood down for a moment and the door opened. A boy with an easy look on his face was entering. Black hair was slicked back under his cap and contempt green eyes looked to the girls.

"I arrive a minute late and you ladies are already at each other's throats? What a shame." He spoke with an upperclass accent.

"I'm sorry, Imperial Majesty." Kaizou retorted sarcastically, "Didn't know you wanted peace."

"Now that the four of you are here, we can begin." The teacher stated with finality. The new guy took a seat next to the other third year class representative. "I've talked the idea out with the rest of the staff and headship team... for the whatever time and they seem to be liking it. Though we need to talk out the rules."

"It's a big competition, so it needs players." Jessie commented.

"So we have the second and third years take part?" New guy rose an eyebrow.

"No. Not enough people." Hairy stated.

"I'm with Kouhei-chan and Mora-kun." Patterns decided. "It wouldn't split very well."

"Okay then. Add in the lower year too." Mr Royalty shrugged.

"Power disparity." The teacher stated.

"This is idea's meant to be Shiketsu's big breakthrough! It has to be something big." Mora (hairy guy), told him.

"Call me crazy, but how about we get the rules down first, then we see who gets to participate?" Their advisor suggested. "And with what you've been stating so far, only the Hero Course can take part. So exclusivity. If it's a competition, is it teamed or solo?"

"Teams of three." Kaizou stated evenly. "It matches a lot of regular Hero teams and are usually pretty balanced."

"Agreed. Why not make it Capture the Flag as well?" Slick smiled to them. "That'll be fun."

"Let's make a spin on that so it's fresh. I agree with seconds and up. But how about we spice things up further?" Mora trailed off, bringing a haired hand to his haired chin.

"Where are you going with that?" Jessica asked, looking to him. His barely visible eyes were thoughtful.

"The students here mainly know what to expect from each other. What if they didn't know what to expect?"

"How would we manage that? Wipe their memories?" Posh boy cocked his head.

"No, Juuigen-kun. That would be unethical." Kaizou blew hair from her face.

"I was thinking... more along the lines of not just Shiketsu West being a part of it. If we want it televised, then it should stand with the U.A. Sports Festival for notoriety. So why don't we one up them and have other schools partake. And add mixed teams to it too and then who knows what to expect?" He went on, explaining with his bushy arms.

"That doesn't sound so bad. Like with what the Provisional Licence Examination does." Juuigen thought it over almost instantly. "I don't see why not."

"Would we give U.A. that special treatment too? Let their first years participate?" The green coloured girl asked carelessly.

"If they're seen as strong enough to compete in the Exam, then why not? See what the young blood has in store." Jessie nodded to the idea.

"So that's some base rules. Let's get more in depth." The teacher hurried them on.

/-/

A couple of weeks ed and all of 1-B was in class, something that hadn't happened since they'd all started up Work Studies. They were happily talking amongst themselves, Togaru had his grill going on his desk and Reiko was intently watching him work. A noticeable bandage was wrapped around his right arm.

"Togaru?" She began, getting some of his attention.

"Yeah?" He looked to her, somewhat surprised to see that there was a hint of worry in her usually emotionless eyes. Or maybe his mind was playing tricks on him.

"How did you get that bandage?" She gestured to it. "You didn't have it last night when we played Tekken." He looked down quickly to it, before focusing back to his meal.

"I couldn't stay asleep, so I woke up early. I trained a bit and decided to use the blue blade a bit more. But creating it more than once in a row leaves a nasty cut as long as it was when it stuck out from me. I've been to Recovery Girl, so don't worry, I'm fine." Togaru explained with a calming smile, though he didn't seem to convince himself; itching the bandage a bit. Kodai was talking to Kouhei for once, instead of just sitting there staring off into the distance. She too had seemingly evolved her Quirk somewhat recently, now she could grow and shrink the air. How useful.

And as per usual with these scenes, Kan Sensei waltzed in.

"Good morning, 1-B." He announced, looking quite serious today. He had a hand close to his chest with something withheld from them.

"Morning, Sensei." Yosetsu greeted. "Is something going on?"

"Indeed. Something... big." He stated.

"Like how big are we talking? One big, two big?" Kouhei cocked his head.

"Twelve big?!" Yosetsu snapped his head from looking at Kouhei to their Homeroom teacher.

"Maybe!" Kan broke out a smile. "Perhaps on the level of the U.A. Sports Festival."

"That is rather big." Shiozaki stated. 'Mmms' resounded throughout the classroom.

"You can't leave us on suspence, Vlad-sensei." Monoma declared loudly, getting several agreeing nods.

"I was about to go into it." He coughed, showing them what he had been holding close to his chest. There were leaflets.

"It's definitely big if leaflets were made." Shoda stated, watching as Kan handed them out... and took his bribe of food from Togaru to keep letting him cook in the Homeroom class.

"Sir, this reads 'Shiketsu Invitational'. I thought it was something big." Shishida threw some massive shade out of nowhere.

"DAMN." Fukidashi exclaimed in return.

"I assure you, it's probably big." Vlad informed them. "Shiketsu West is trying their hand at a national event, they're inviting students from other schools to partake in it."

"But what is it?" Kendo spoke up.

"Open the leaflet." Tokage mouthed off to her friend.

"'First of February will be hosting the first Shiketsu National Invitational. An event where Hero Course students from schools across Japan compete in a televised tournament style event.'" Hiryu read out.

"This is televised?!" Komori said surprised. "It's as big as the Sports Festival!"

"'Every class that receives these leaflets must nominate three individuals to represent them.'" Kaibara continued. "There's small text. 'If you get one in your class, your school's already agreed to send students.' Fun."

"'Ninety-six will arrive for a bracket styled event. Thirty-two teams of three, each team is mixed with students from different schools and years. Every game is 'Destroy the Flag'. The two teams are given an object to protect; with the goal being to destroy your opponent's.'" Dude Genyu read out.

"This actually sounds pretty fun!" Kinzoku said aloud. "'Uniforms will be provided and participants are not allowed to bring anything into the battles, which happen in an open environment.'" His voice seemed to trail off as he realised his Quirk might not be best suited for it.

"This sounds pretty cool." Shihai shrugged.

"The next course of action is nominating who gets to go." Kan informed them. "It's the twenty-fourth today, so it happens next Monday. But we need who's in as soon as possible."

"Genyu-kun." Was the immediate answer from some of them. The boy in question slumped his shoulder with a nod.

"What did I expect?" He muttered barely audibly.

"I think that was a given." Honenuki said flatly.

"Do you want to do it, Genyu-kun?" Vlad asked.

"Yeah. Alright."

"Then we need two more. Anyone?"

"President Kendo-sama...?" Kouhei turned in his chair to look at her. The ginger thought momentarily.

"I work well with information I'm given to make plans... but I'd have almost nothing to go off of in the first round, which is likely one of the most important rounds." She stated reasonably. "If you want me to go, I'll go. But I'm really not too sure I'd perform that well."

"Then this is a probable 'no' from me." Tokage spoke up. "No info? No plan."

"Right. We'd need people with quick reactive skills for plans. Or people that don't plan and just go straight for the jugular." Shoda realised. "Big area of effect moved to lock down areas would help for this." Komori made a long gasping sound in realisation.

"I... I could do it! I could shroom everyone up!" She got up and put her hands to her desk.

"If we're going for big AoE damage, I've got that in spades." Kouhei stood up as well.

"Too much AoE. You might hurt your teammates." Bondo muttered, but still being heard.

"DAMN." Fukidashi repeated himself.

"So? How about it?" Komori asked them.

"The mushrooms are dangerous." Kosei thought. "I'm not getting picked for this, so my vote's for you."

"Go get them, Kinoko." Tokage gave her a thumbs up.

"So we're in agreement?" Monoma asked. "Genyu-kun and Komori-chan?"

"Aye." Went the majority.

"So we just need one more." Reiko said. "Itsuka or Honenuki-kun."

"Yeah, actually. Juzo's got very flexible thinking." Sen realised, the boy in question sat at the back of the room and was sometimes forgotten about by the front rows.

"Itsuka. We need the power of attractive girls on our side. So why not have three?" Tsunotori suggested.

"Wow. Ouch." Honenuki leant back in his chair.

"We shouldn't be superficial. Who has the better chance at winning?" Shiozaki commented, looking backwards at the rest of them.

"I really don't mind if you choose me or Honenuki-kun." Kendo put her hands up to stop them for a minute.

"I completely agree." Honenuki backed her up.

"So it's between our Big Sis and the Attack Titan." Fukidashi folded his arms, maybe thinking, but his bubble head projected series of cartoon s.

"Kendo-chan's our Class President too." Honenuki carried on for her. "Please, take the spot. It's what most the others want as well."

"I-If you all say so." She caved to the peer pressure with a worried face.

"Excellent." Vlad King wrote down three names. "Now, we can get on with the rest of the day."

The week ed quickly and Saturday afternoon quickly came. Kaikiban was taking a breath of fresh air around the campus. In two days, he'd be at the 'Shiketsu National Invitationals'. It was logical to presume that they'd be leaving in the next day; Shiketsu was not a close place. Strolling past Gym Gamma, he heard a commotion within and the doors were open. Moseying over, he looked in. Surprisingly, he saw Monoma breathing heavily, facing off against an upper year. It wasn't someone that he recognised.

"Hey, hey, c'mon Neito. Get I'm wide open." He said, relaxed. Prismatic hair went down to his ears, his eyes mimicked his hair colours; changing when the light hit them differently.

"I can't. I don't have a Quirk to fight you with." Monoma huffed, preparing himself. His own hair and eyes had copied the upperclassman.

"Sure you do. You have mine."

"It's not very helpful considering it's like mine." At that point, Kaikiban lost interest, taking his leave.

Feeling a buzz on his leg, he took out his phone.

"Hey, Itsuka. What's up?" Kaikiban carried on with his walk.

"Hey, Kai. Kinoko and I are one our way to the third year staff room." She informed him.

"Whatever for?"

"Not sure, Kan-sensei told us to go, and so do you. It's more than likely that it's about Monday." Itsuka said.

"Alright. I'll be there." Clicking his phone off, he began to hurry back into the building. Narrowly dodging an explosion from the Course room, likely Hatsume. Spare time for him had been dedicated to learning the layout of the school, but even after almost a year attending the place, there were some corridors he hadn't been down. And because of that, he got lost.

^Lost, huh?^ Mei asked rhetorically, fully knowing he was. Steam jetsammed from his left side out of his self made clothing. The steam formed into a humanoid shape and tidied itself up. Kakumeiso stood with a smile, fully clothed with their Quirk.

"Warn me next time you decide to create yourself." Kai looked to the almost invisible thread of nerve between them.

"Where's the fun in that? Also, turn here." Mei turned down the corridor, forcing him to follow otherwise the nerve thread with strain. Ten meters without any obstacles was the maximum, but busy places or cluttered areas usually made them stand side by side.

"You also shouldn't do that inside. It could interfere with the smoke detectors and cause a false alarm, because the radiation detection would go all over the place."

"I taught you what you know about fire alarms." She pouted.

"After you spent an afternoon learning how they worked so that you could sweet talk Setsuna with obscure fire alarm facts." His eyelids were half open.

"Not just that. I just wanted to see how they worked; getting to be with my beautiful girlfriend is just the cherry on top."

"Do you know where you're going, or are you just leading us in circles?" Kaikiban deadpanned, as they took another corner.

"I know a couple of second years."

"I know them too. Have you waltzed around when I was asleep?"

"The only waltzing I did was getting pinned by Liz and-"

"You did that without me?" There was a rare touch of annoyance in his voice, a devious smirk formed onto her mouth.

"Of course. Genyu is Genyu to her. It just so happens that I let her have her way with me~" They reached the apparent room and Mei disintegrated. Knocking before entering, there was quite a few others waiting; all from different years.

"Ah, Genyu-kun, you made it." Principal Nezu greeted with a wave. He was sat at a table with a few of the others.

"I got lost." Was the instant response.

"Oh my god, such a mood." A third year nodded solemnly. He had fluffy white hair.

"Bro... getting lost is like, not being found." The skeleton in the corner spewed. He was a second year and one of the two that announced the second year colosseum fights that apparently still went on. His fellow first years were sat on a pair of sofas, so he ed Iida and Tokoyami on their one. Itsuka and Komori were on the one opposite with Yaoyorozu.

"You're looking spritely." Tokoyami greeted in his gloomy voice.

"And you're looking as dark as ever." Was his response.

"It isn't surprising that you were picked for this." Yaoyorozu complemented. "You are quite difficult to take down from what I've heard and seen."

"So it seems." Kai took a further look around. Four third years were sat at the table with Nezu, while Hado was the fifth and was happily chatting away with a familiar grey haired second year girl. There was seventeen of them now, and if every class had three of their class there, they were waiting on one. "I would have thought that the three of you 1-A under Endevour would have been elected."

"They said that Endevour probably wouldn't let them go for an unestablished event like this. So we were chosen in their stead." Iida said informatively.

"We're waiting on a third year." Komori hummed happily and in complete disregard for the conversation, whilst playing with her hair.

"There's always one." Iida grumbled. "It wastes everyone's time to not arrive promptly."

"Agreed." A dark sounding second year said, his hair tied into a waist length ponytail. A traditional, casual Japanese kimono donned him.

"Hail, fellow practitioner of darkness." Tokoyami greeted him.

"Hail." Was the response.

"Every class has a dark and gloomy guy, huh?" Hado-senpai exclaimed, casually strolling over and leaned over the back of a sofa between Yaoyorozu and Itsuka.

"So gloomy!" Komori nodded.

"Perhaps darkness is just the same coin from another angle." Skeletor puffed a thick black smog from his mouth.

"Did you come straight from training?" Housei, grey haired second year, asked with a teasing smirk.

"No..."

"Liar. You're completely zoinked!" She giggled.

"How can everyone interact with each other so easily." Amajiki mumbled to himself, staring dead into the table.

"You holding up well, Amajiki-kun?" Fluffy girl asked.

"I want to go home..." Was the worried response.

"Same, bro. Same." She patted him on the back.

"DO YOU WANT A SNICKERS?" The largely built, metallic third year across from him asked. "YOU'RE NOT YOU WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY. SNICKERS. GET SOME NUTS."

"I'm okay, Andy." The sheepish big three member muttered.

"I might have one if it's being offered." Nezu put a hand up, taking the wrapped chocolate bar and began to nibble away.

"Which guy are we waiting for?" The reptilian looking second year hissed, a wide mouth with three large rows of teeth was sitting under the overhead fan with it open.

"Ol' Mirror Man." Fluffy informed him.

"Do you have any idea what they're talking about?" Komori whispered to the five of them whilst watching the upper two years converse easily.

"No." Kaikiban shook his head.

"The final person we're waiting for." Iida stated.

"I don't know enough about the second and third years. 'Mirror Man' could be anyone." Itsuka undid her ponytail, getting a mental 'ooo' from Kakumeiso.

^Contain yourself, woman.^ Kai scolded her.

"You look quite dashing with your hair down." A disembodied voice said. A black projection formed from Tokoyami's abdomen and floated towards the girls.

"Heel, Dark Shadow." The bird-brain commanded.

"Hey, I'm just saying what's on your mind." Dark Shadow complained.

"There is a time and a place."

"And boredly sitting on a couch twiddling your thumbs isn't a the time or place?"

"Does Tokoyami-kun have a crush on Suki-babe?" Komori gasped dramatically, whilst the boy looked to her emotionlessly.

"Do not fill your mind with such thoughts. Dark Shadow does not know what he's talking about."

"I think I prefer 'President Kendo-sama'." Itsuka murmured.

"Is it a big deal though?" Hado asked curiously. "You're hot enough to be called a 'babe' right?"

"That's not the issue."

"Too feminine for you. Got it." Kaikiban tossed her a smile in return for a glare. A kick found his way to his shin from her direction.

"Let's all calm down." Yaoyorozu said soothingly. "We've only been here for three minutes."

"Agreed. Although the message did say at four. And it's now four oh two." Iida tapped his foot repeatedly against the ground.

"Time is a concept!" Lorde Nito, that is his name, called over.

"No smoking indoors." The purple haired third year said drearily, a blue orb was floating above her hand. "Can we just start and fill him in later?"

"No." Nezu was halfway down his snickers.

"Who are we waiting for?" A new voice asked from the door. The prismatic styled upper year was entering.

"YOU ARE LATE." 'Andy' commented in a robotic voice.

"So sorry, Andy. I was helping a first year train. He's like me." He sat down with the other third years.

"An asshole?" Purple hair rose an eyebrow.

"...No... he copies people Quirks."

"Oh, that's Monoma-kun. So yes. An asshole." Komori chimed. The claw footed second year laughed.

"Now that everyone is here, we can begin." Nezu put his bar down. "I am sure you're all well aware of why you're here?"

"Shiketsu's copying us, and we're all going." Prisma Man said boredly.

"To be blunt, yes. All eighteen of you were elected by your peers to represent your classes at the 'Shiketsu National Invitational'. I advise you pack some clothes and wash stuffs, you're going to be there from the thirty-first of January, to the third of February. You will set off tomorrow at ten in the morning, driven there by Present Mic."

"So we arrive before we begin." Iida muttered to himself.

"It allows for time to prepare." Purple Hair pointed out. "Likely to either get us comfortable, or organise us early to keep things running smoothly."

"Correct." Nezu confirmed. "Are there anymore questions?"

"Which other schools will be there?" Reptile Man hissed.

"...they refused to say. Only those at Shiketsu know."

"So it's a surprise?" Tokoyami said rhetorically.

"I hate surprises." Housei whined, throwing herself over the back of a chair.

"I am guessing that the anonymity means that there will not be any research prior to the event." The Principal went on. "So tomorrow, wake up as normal, but do not attend lessons. You will need to have packed bags for the three nights you will be there. The event ends on the third, after which you will begin to head back to U.A.. And , you will be on national television. So please behave."

"Is that everything?" Amajiki asked sullenly.

"Indeed. Sorry to distract your day for such a short meeting. But ten'o clock and bring some overnight luggage." They were instructed as they all got up to leave.

"Alright!" Hado chimed, bubbly. They filed of the room and commenced more chatter. Most of which Kaikiban ignored, looking out of the window over the premise and decided that he wanted to continue on with his walk.

"Kai. You okay?" Itsuka asked, coming to stand next to him.

"Perfectly. Just about to go back on my walk, then pack my things." He looked to her.

"Mm! Good idea. Would you mind if you had company?" She cocked her head, her orange hair still down.

"Not if it's you." He smiled back to her.

"Don't be flirtatious with me. You have a girlfriend." He was punched in the arm.

"I wasn't trying to be. I meant that-"

"I know." She stuck her tongue out.

"I still what that tastes like."

"I thought we agreed to not talk about that." Was the slightly disgusted response.

"I know. Just reminding you."

*The next day...*

Nine-fifty happened and Kaikiban was bringing a bag with some clothes in a small coach. Some of the other students were there, and the prismatic styled guy saw him; an open book was floating beside him.

"Hello there." He greeted with a wave, approaching him. "You're Kaikiban Genyu, right?"

"Yes."

"Excellent. Put her there." A hand was given to be shaken.

"DO NOT SHAKE HIS HAND." Andy, the large third year, called dramatically, but it was too late. What felt like an electric shock ed into him and his vision went dark.
