Summary: The start of the My Hero Academia Arc. From here on, there’s MANGA SPOILERS!!!
Author’s Note:
Before things start... I am an omnipotent body that can change the flow of the story if you so much as Go-Gos in my direction, so keep that to yourself. The original characters and base story beats were made by Horikoshi, I’m just relaying things in 1-B and making some changes to spruce things up.
Any correlation between the OCs and something else is a coincidence.
Hopefully you understand this before I piss you off in any way. Let me repeat that. This is my story; I am bored so I wanted to make something for fun, so fuck off if you get annoyed at me because I miss-measured the size of Re:Destro’s nose.
And before I forget, I’m writing this for my friends first so expect a few inside jokes that you won’t get.
So without further ado... I present the fifty-third episode of Shenanigans In 1-B! WOO!

Atsuki stood overlooking a mansion deep on Gunga Mountain. There were a lot of Heroes there. Separated into the Front and Rear Guards, he was holed up in the rear with most of the other students. Things were meant to start soon. But when was up for debate. Jiro had her earphone jacks to the floor and listened in. Shoji was sprawling his tentacles into the air to hear better and Tokage was a floating mouth. U.A. wasn't the only school participating in the raid. Shiketsu West and others were there too. As well as in a secondary location eighty miles away.
"^What are you expecting?^" Jessica came up beside him with her arms folded, looking down slightly to him.
"^Ah... Man. I dunno. Nimbus took Denki to the Front Guard and left us other three here. Sucks but he must be needed for some reason or other.^" He pondered aloud.
"^I could do it too, but it must be something out of my league. To think that guy's better at storing lightning than me is chilling.^" She looked out with him.
"Fulgora. It's no use worrying about what you can't do now. Worry about what you can do now." The tanned boy on a rock told her. His yellow and grey hair were cut close to his head.
"No need to be formal, Rengoku-kun. It's your President's job to worry." Fulgora turned to him. A smile appeared on his mouth.
"Sure. But," he jumped off the rock. "Us back burners have a job to do. And that's to not let any of these sons of bitches past!" He let out a triumphant yell. Truly inspiring as some of the other male students followed his example.
"You know him, right?" Kishou looked to Yaoyorozu curiously.
"I do. He is quite... astonishing." She put nicely, a smile played her lips. The somewhat recent memories of the Shiketsu Tournament played in her mind. A flutter in her chest was unnoticed.
"Like, I get that we have to wait and all, but really? The grass up here is staining my clothes." Cammie, the blonde bimbo from Shiketsu, whined. "Totes not a vibe."
"Totes." Soren nodded in 'mood'.
"I think we have more pressing issues than who's clothes are grass stained." Shoda commented. "Like a giant battle?"
"Why is everything 'giant' or 'large'? How about some representation for 'small' and 'tiny'?" Mineta asked them, sat on a rock.
"Because a small battle is boring." Tetsutetsu clanged his fists together. "This waiting's getting me pumped!"
"I can't imagine what it's like on the front lines." Rikishi shuddered, his nose pressed to the ground and his whiskers were feeling the vibrations, much like Jiro was doing. Ibara was on her knees praying to the sun overhead.
"Oh Lord, upon this day grant us a swift and merciful victory over the overwhelming enemy. Deliver mine and mine closest to a realm beyond that of a complex and arduous experience, away from the sinners opposing us. Bloodied men surround us and your light shall cast a channel through their ranks, scoring our souls with valiant and noble valour. The mighty have swarmed with me, guarantee our hasty victory; my God." Atsuki had knelt down beside her in his first intentional act of prayer, looking to the floor and mimicked a videogame prayer position.
"Hey, God, I'm not asking for much. Just don't let my friends get hurt, okay?" He murmured to himself, only Ibara heard him, smiling divinely to him. She took a knife from the pouch on her inner thigh and looked at the finely crafted blade. Stars ran up the centre. It was definitely ceremonial.
"To seal my faith in your omnipotence, I offer you my blood." She took the knife to her left cheek and cut across it. Her blood began to seep from it and dripped onto the floor, Atsuki watched and took the knife.
"I'm not one for rituals. They're usually bad. But just this once, I'm trusting you, higher being." He wiped the blade and gave himself a matching cut. It wasn't often he saw his own blood, but it didn't matter to him. His dripped to the dirt also.
"Okay, the pair of you, off to the infirmary station." Yaoyorozu demanded. "What went through your mind to do that?"
"Faith." They responded in unison. A white haired U.A. second year stepped up to them and knelt down. Her hands outstretched to their cheeks and began to glow light blue.
"Shallow cuts like that aren't much issue if treated immediately. The colosseum's had much worse to fix." She stated.
"You must be Mahou Saijumei, the medic of the colosseum; I presume?" Libira asked.
"I am. And you're both better." She took her hands away and the two of them had matching cheek scars.
"They're idiots." Jessica muttered, turning back to look at the mansion.
"But you love him." Rengoku stated matter of factly.
"I do. He's my little brother."
"I don't have siblings. So I'll protect all of you. You're my team after all, isn't that right, Momo?" He looked to Creati expectantly.
"Yes!" She nodded with confidence. It was clear that they'd been in over the timeskip.
"I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling." Shishida stated. "I can feel something. It's... terrifying. Overwhelming. Dare I say... giant?"
"His mother." Atsuki looked up slowly and seriously. The camera got a good side shot of his head as he did so.
"Is that why he was sent to the Front Guard?!" Mineta exclaimed. "To fight her?!"
"It's just a hunch. No need to worry so much." Tokage recombined herself. "He'll be fine."
"It's no hunch. She's here." Atsuki stood up. "And it's up to the Nimbus Squad to get her for good." Flexing his hand muscles to look even cooler.
"I'm with you there!" Monoma hurrahed.
"Yeah!" Pony nodded quickly.
"I've seen her before and that's not what I got but okay." Shishida stated.
"But she is here?" Jessica looked towards Atsuki. "Are you positive?"
"I hope I'm wrong." He gritted his teeth. Not for him. But for Kaikiban. For Kakumeiso. And for Moroshi to some extent.
"Dude... don't be dramatic." Mineta deadpanned.
"Almost time. Get up, Grape Juice." Sero scolded, looking slightly angsty.
"Why? The Rear Guard's job is to just catch the guys that slip past the the Front Line. So getting all pumped up is kind of insulting to the Pros, right?" He shrugged.
"Get up." He repeated himself seriously. The furry Pro beside them put a hand to his ear, hearing something.
"What?!" Shoda asked cautiously.
"It's starting." He said evenly.
"You said that so casually..." Mineta quivered.
"Harden yourselves. Things will get ugly real soon." Jessica instructed them all, clearly commanding respect and authority that her brother couldn't replicate. Jiro was listening to the pounding of footsteps against the soil a ways away. It sounded like a drum.
"They're on the move." She stated.
"This operation has brought Heroes together on an unprecedented scale. Some have even come out of retirement to assist." A few of them looked to an old man sat on a rock, a sword dug into the ground and his hands on the hilt. Clockwork gears were in the cross-guard of the silver weapon. His grey hair hung around his eyes and wrinkles covered him. The students would have thought him asleep, if he wasn't looking forwards with keen copper eyes. "But that's no reason to relax just yet. What this means is that we need everyone here to face the massive threat in front of us." A raking cough came from the old timer as he stood up and sheathed the blade.
"It's been a while since I've been in the field. Trial by fire they say, eh?" He looked around and overlooked the mansion. "Can't believe my grandkids are out there before I am. What do you say, Durandal? I'm jealous of them." He nattered to himself, looking to the sword. "It's insulting to not partake." The guy immediately began to jog down.
"Who's the old guy?" Ashido whispered to Tokage. "And should we you know... stop him?"
"I don't know, he looks familiar though." She shook her head.
"I him from the September Harvest Festival." Atsuki realised. "He ran it."
"If you ed any more, you'd know exactly who he is." Yaoyorozu commented, not elaborating.
"Leave him be. He's backup wherever he's needed." The Pro stated.
"Not too worried about Tokoyami-kun." Jiro began. "But what about..." Creati put her hand on her arm and knelt with her.
"I'm sure he'll be fine."
/-/
"THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT FINE!" Denki yelled to himself in panic. All of the Front Guard Heroes were running through the trees towards the mansion. "I WANNA BE WITH YOU GUYS!" He continued, going with the flow. Some of the students had been taken to the front for some myriad of reasons, but why did it have to be him?
"You knew what you were getting into." Midnight said beside him. "We need your Quirk. Just think of it as helping the adults who don't have what it takes."
"Nimbus is literally right behind me!" He exclaimed, looking back into 'Thor''s face. A hand was put onto his head.
"Don't worry. If there's too much lightning for me to handle, then I've got you." The warm smile came. "Sometimes even I don't have what it takes."
"Don't have what it takes?! Nope! Never thought of that!"
"Stop complaining and run." Genyu muttered, running on the other side of Nimbus.
"You'll get used to the fear!" Kinzoku laughed.
"NOT HELPING!" Chargebolt screamed.
"Kaminari-kun. I learned something watching you play guitar. You're amazing." Tokoyami stated looking back at him.
"Kaikiban! Do you wanna test out that new move?" Shemage looked to Proteus.
"No time like the present." He nodded, seeds forming in his balled palms. Cementoss had taken a ride on the Magician Hero: Majestic's; Yaoyorozu, Juutomo and Tokage's mentor; floating disc and reached the concrete platform first.
"Open up." He commanded, the cement all began to shift and melded towards the structure. Over the course of a handful of seconds, the mansion was ripped open. Other Heroes had reached the floor and continued to run. Genyu saw multiple heat signatures coming through the smoke and began to teeter his running to get next to his classmate.
"You two. I want you both coming out of this alive." Nimbus commanded Denki and Genyu. "You're good kids and I'm glad Atsuki's found the pair of you. I might as well count you as my own." The clouds had gathered above their position and the distant rumbling of thunder sounded.
"DON'T LET ANYONE ESCAPE!!! THEY'RE WELL TRAINED AND READY TO GIVE THEIR LIVES TO THE CAUSE! IF ANY OF THEM GET OUT, THEY COULD KEEP TERRORISING OTHER PLACES! IN ORDER TO PROTECT, WE MUST ATTACK!" Edgeshot rallied the troupes. Midnight spoke to Denki about who was most important to him in that very moment and one girl came to mind. It spurred him on to take action as the smell of ozone filled the air and a bright crackling was opposing them. Dashing before as many as he could, Kaminari harnessed his Quirk and the incoming electrical attack was drawn to his skyward finger, anchoring it and leaving it useless.
"There ya go - one big commander guy totally neutralised! Now let's mop up the others real quick so the guys we left behind don't need to worry!" He smiled broadly, feeling the immense power flowing through him.
"Superb job, Chargebolt!" Nimbus commended. "Now! To me!"
"You got it, Old Man!" The moment the student said that, the 'Old Man' felt a sense of fatherly pride for the boy. "Let's test something out! Ten Million... Starvolt Collider!" The energy spilling out of him intensified in a single direction. Nimbus caught it and sent it skyward.
"For future use." He winked to his junior.
"C'mon! I just made up a super cool name!" Denki yelled in annoyance.
^I have to it. Starvolt Collider is pretty stellar.^ The Villain that had let off that tazer blast itted to himself. ^It's 'Electrification' by the looks of it.^ But how many millions of volts can you withstand?"
"^Oh no ya don't.^ Satellite Wrath!" Nimbus yelled, a bolt came back down and blasted the Villain, setting up a cloud around him, it was weaker than what was sent up.
"I'm resilient to electricity, fool-" he began before something came through the cloud.
"Think we didn't know?" Edgeshot jumped up in a cool ninja pose and folded down and through multiple of the incoming fodder. ^Ninpo: Thousand Sheet Pierce.^ "I've put tiny holes in your lungs. Continuing to fight will put you at death's door. But a nice nap will have you healed in no time." Midnight weaved through the weakened and released a mist that put them to sleep. Kamui Woods yeeted himself over his comrades and sent out branches in all directions, snatching up and restraining more enemies.
"This is a mess!" An enemy yelled out. "Even the regiments are falling to pieces! If you're gonna go down, at least take a few of the dogs with you-" the floor beneath a lot of them turned to slosh as Honenuki acted.
"Good job, Mudman!" The Orca Hero: Gang Orca yelled to him.
"You mean it?!" He asked surprised at the compliment.
"Let me get in on the compliments too!" Kinzoku called, a web of metal extending off of him and around nearby enemies, taking them into the air. "Snare!"
"Perfect!" Mt. Lady winked at him.
"This mud's not gonna work on me-" One of the Villains was rising out of the soup with blade arms, but began coughing, along with the others trapped. The opening presented itself and Genyu jumped up, clearly taking inspiration from Edgeshot.
"Kinoko!" He yelled for Komori and threw the seeds, vines sprawled out of them as the Villains began to cough and wheeze even more. "t Ultimate Move..." She yelled after he spoke.
"HIVE MIND DOMINATION!" Was what she announced. A bright light flashed from every mushroom around, bringing them to life. The seeds hit the Villains and the newly awoken soldiers grabbed the vines with their roots and took hold of the suffering people.
"MEN! WE HAVE BEEN GRANTED VESSELS CAPABLE OF EXTENDED COMBAT! PRAISE BE TO THE NATURE GOD AND PRAISE BE TO OUR QUEEN! FOR THE MOTHERSPOOOOORE!!!!!" The Shroom-gent blared out, charging the possessed Villains against the enemy. More mushrooms were rushing through the brush as Shemage had been shedding the entire way, as well as off of other Heores.
"Leave the crowd control to me!" She beamed to everyone maniacally, using her newly formed hive mind to coordinate things.
"Amazing, Shemage! We got it from here! We'll take down their top guns with our full force!" Crip Orca rushed on ahead with Tokoyami and Genyu. Fat Gum and Amajiki called Tokoyami over and Genyu stayed with Orca. "There's a age coming up, think you can plug it?" Thunder boomed and the crackling of lightning overlaid it.
"Without hesitation." Were his words, steam coming from his arms. "Trial Biomancy: Writhing Vine Coils!" The age was filled with the independently moving vines, clogging it deeply and causing it to collapse as it went. "That should keep them occupied for a bit."
"Outstanding!" The Pro gave a brief thumbs up before punching some random dude. Familiar scents caught his nose, the records of them lingered in his memory from September. And his heat vision saw a stretched out thing coming through the tunnel.
"Orca-san! On me!" He yelled as cloth shot from the rubble and it was all sent flying out. The vines were sent as well.
"What the-?" Gum watched surprised.
"If only we had Frostblade here." Blood Orca huffed at the two women rushing out. One had ten eyes and the other was extending cloth at them.
"Damned Heroes!" Mibishu yelled, gathering her blue rings together and they glowed. A concentrated yellow beam shot at the 'good guys'. The cement floor rose up and tanked it.
"Cheers, Cemenotoss!" He called out into the ether and ran to the women. The multi eyed one put broke the floor apart and shot it at them. Gang crumbled it with low sound waves and punched her. Mibishu's inner hand shone and a beam narrowly missed his head, getting her own punch in retaliation. About to impale him with wood spikes, he released an ultrasonic attack around himself, catching them.
"Alderon will not repeat itself!" Another familiar voice caught Genyu's attention and Alcan slammed his metal rod into the ladies' sides.
"Proteus! Seal the tunnel again!" He was commanded.
"I'll be more thorough this time. Trial Biomancy: Roots Of Eden!" Combining 'Shiozaki-Todoroki' with sponge, sap and fat, what were essentially giant tentacles were sent back down the tunnel. The floor beneath him cracked and a pillar of rock shot out, missing him and slammed through the walkway above.
^My aim is off...^ Eyes thought as the rod smacked her head. More cracks appeared nearby and the floor caved in, warriors emerging. One familiar blue woman didn't shock him.
"Genyu-dearest! Your auntie's here to play!" Kidzuki said, her wrist gauntlet already active and she had it before him immediately. The barrels let loose a powerful explosive and sent him back. The tentacles caught him, but a trapdoor opened and swallowed him.
"Proteus!" Aclan yelled after, colliding his weapon against the gauntlet.
"Achos Tenzen! That Quirk of yours must be useful for a constructor! Why are you a Hero?" She asked him, battling him back, each impact had explosive power; literally. Gang Orca went to make a move on her, when the two downed women began to float.
"I guess you don't know our specs." Mibishu stated, glowing yellow.
"They're all made to kill Heroes." The other one followed, glowing blue.
"And I took them in to let them flourish!" Kidzuki smiled at Aclan, skidding him back as he almost got tapped.
"I didn't want to do it, but I have no choice." He said, the tip extending into a spear. Thrusting forward, he went straight through her stomach; almost as if she wanted him to do it. Not being able to move from the position, her hand clasped his face; fingers tapping his skin repeatedly.
"Buh-bye!" Curious said gleefully. A cluster of explosives went on against his face and he fell back. Raising her gauntlet and lowering it to his smoke covered face, she blew that fucker straight to Heaven. "You have been liberated." The spear detonated in half and she drew it from herself; the hole filling itself in.
"Dammit!" Crip went to get her, the kill had happened so fast while he was distracted. A ball of light blew up beside him and spikes caught him, lancing him away.
"We've got him, Curious!" Ten eyes called to her.
"Very nice!"
"Orca!" Edgeshot realised what the fuck was going on and cut through the spikes.
"I'm fine. But these women. This is going to be difficult." He rolled his neck and cracked his knuckles; like there wasn't a battle going on.
"Time for another round." Edge was floating around him as a noodle boy, stabbing some other guy through the lung in the process.
"Aw shit. These two again?" Kamui Woods also arrived with them.
"I shall leave them to you. I have other Heroes to talk to." Kidzuki said to the women, watching Fat Gum haul ass with Kinzoku, Tokoyami, Komori, Denki and Honenuki.
"Where's Proteus?" He asked them.
"I thought he was with you!" Komori exclaimed.
"He went off with Gang Orca. That was the last I saw of him." Tokoyami said darkly.
"Just trust him. I'm sure he has everything under control." Honenuki cooled them.
"I sure hope so. I'm gonna have to make another trip otherwise. MOVE IT PEOPLE! FAT TAXI'S COMING THROUGH!" A third random guy was trampled over.
/-/
Kaikiban was sliding down the trap chute, anticipating where he'd end up. The walls were too smooth to make any meaningful progress of stopping, so slowing down with his fire was what he did. It levelled out and he stopped, running down the corridor; getting back to things was of upmost importance. A door was coming up and he didn't care what was on the other end, grasping the handle and expected it to be locked. Instead, it was open and he pushed it in wildly. Instantly, the smell of cinnamon hit his nose and in the context of what has gone on that day, that could only mean one thing.
"Oh! Hello, dear!" Oetari Genyu was sat in a comfy looking armchair with a coffee and onigiri. A book was in her lap. "You got here sooner than expected." A warm smile was offered his way.
^Oh... shit.^ Kakumeiso muttered mentally.
"Do you want a drink? I must say, that Hero suit of yours is very handsome!" She put her hands together. Words couldn't reach his mouth. There was so much to say, and yet nothing came. "You look shaken, what's wrong?" He opened his mouth to talk.
"I- I- I-" He spluttered, concentrating his Quirk after a deep breath. "I've come to do my job." Bones steamed off his whole body and grew out rapidly, going to attack from every angle. Her warm smile turned proud for a moment.
"Good." A rampart of bone sprung forth to oppose the attack and Kaikiban's bones snapped. To follow he ignited the tendrils and used the fire to hide his move. A large fan of bone and fibres blew them out after he jumped forwards. Purple flames enveloped his electrical fists and he punched his mother. Skidding back, she had her hands out. The block was masterful and calculated, the skin over her palms bubbled back. Getting up from his crouch, another punch was loosed, this time, it was blocked by her forehead. Pain lanced through his arm as his hand broke.
"Did you know that the forehead is capable of breaking a hand? Well now you do." A bone helmet had sprung up over the top half of her face as she spoke. Horns rose on either side. "It's not uncommon in bare knuckle fighting."
"Why?" Kaikiban backed off to across the room, healing his hand. "That's what every. Single. Question. Starts with. And I have so much to say that I can't say any of it."
"Would you like to walk with me?" The offer was legitimate, she extended her hand out. "I have something to show you."
"How do I know you won't just stab me?"
"I could have already. And you're my son. I will not hurt my family." Her voice hardened. A line he guessed she'd said more than once. Something her beliefs stemmed from.
"I don't like it. And it's selfish to accept. But I need answers. I have been waiting a while." His sword formed and he pointed the tip at her.
"Well... I'll keep it quick then. Come." Gesturing to a bookshelf, she pushed it aside easily. "It's not like I'm going to be needing this." Another tunnel was revealed and she began to walk. "This was something I organised away from everyone. After Hawks appeared I knew that he wasn't here for the cause. And he smelt of teriyaki. Then all of a sudden, that smell was everywhere and I knew he was spying. That and it lined up conveniently with the failure to capture the Roux children, who you must be familiar with." Something twisted in his stomach.
"So you did try to kill them." There wasn't an answer.
"Do you ever look at the bigger picture, Kai? Or Mei? Or... you?" The third option was directed at the newest member.
"Sometimes. What's this got to do with anything?" Kaikiban felt his skin tear on his palms as he balled his fists and blood began to splatter to the floor.
"You're bleeding!"
"Answer the question!" He yelled, his usually even temper flaring.
"I did all of this... for all of you. You, Mei, Moroshi Jr, Moroshi Snr and... father. It was all a means to an end to protect you all. Your dad wanted to help with that." They reached a space in the ground, a lab of sorts. Wires ran across the floor to two items on pedestals. One was a blue translucent egg, the other... was a head. A metal, familiar head.
"Ultima..." Proteus realised. Things were piecing together.
"Chitose retrieved it along with those girls after your curfuffle in Alderon and linked herself into their bonds. Congratulations on the victory by the way. It is still alive. The brain is all that needs to be in order for a of Hyper Regeneration to survive. But we managed to keep it as a head." Something else caught his eye, a wall of assorted objects was nearby.
"And this... I helped make it. It's a directory hairband, it moves unruly hair. But it's... a weapon now." He realised, looking at something else. "Yotsubashi-sama showed me it one time... but why's it... oh. I see."
"What do you mean... a weapon?"
"Kidzuki-san and Yotsubashi-sama approached me the weekend after the Sports Festival."
"I know that."
"They wanted me to help test some items. I thought it was for quality of life. Not weapon manufacturing!" The look on the woman's face shifted into calm anger.
"I'll sort that. All of this can change. If you want it to." She stood next to the head. "This will all be lost by the end of the day. So make your choice. Destroying this will prevent Chitose from regenerating further."
"Or?"
"Or you can take it. I am sure a super intelligent Nomu would be useful."
"Are you awake?" Kaikiban questioned it. The eyes flicked open and looked at him, Ultima's mouth moved, but no lungs meant no sound. "What do you want?"
'Death.' Was the word he mouthed.
"So be it." He rose the sword in both hands and tightened his muscles. Oetari watched curiously. "Farewell." Closing his eyes, the squelch of brain being sliced disgusted him. He'd never taken a life before, not outside of his Quirk anyway. The action disgusted him to the point where his stomach retched and he vomited. His mother went to put a hand on his shoulder and Mei took over, placing a hand out and jetting regular flames at her.
"Why?! A month after I come back it was your turn to disappear from my life. Why? What made you do all of this?!" Tears began to creep down her cheeks.
"You wouldn't understand-"
"Then just say it how it is! I went nine years without a mother. Existing in a void before coming back. And then I barely get to be with you. And Dad too. I just want to be a normal girl! But I can't! Because I'm crazy and have Villains for parents! Just tell me why you did all of this!" She yelled frantically, her grasp on things slipping.
"Mei..." Judicator steeled herself. "To protect you all. Everything I did. The people I killed. The actions I've done. Was to protect you. Especially you. The higher ups of this group knew what you were and wanted that for this ridiculous cult. I kept them away from you. This life was something I never wanted for you, but I let you so that you could be your own person."
"My own person? I don't even have my own body. I have to share with two others!"
"And you two are so very different to each other. I would never get this from him." Emotions tipped logic for the younger girl and went into the embrace offered to her, crying into her shoulder. "I never forgot the night I lost you. That thing inside your eye... it tore you in two. 'I'll keep this for safe keeping for the time being'. Were the words. Adaptation is the culmination of my 'Amorphous' and Moroshi's 'Emotion Divide'. And it became intelligent, watching over the pair of you."
"But what made you turn to Villainy?"
"It was the easiest way to pro..." Oetari trailed off, knowing that she didn't need to repeat that point. "So that anyone that threatened you... got their dues. That man that tried to rob you the day you told me you'd take the Entrance Exam? I killed him. The people of Deika knew I'd do it. And that knowledge kept threats to you at a minimum. It all started when your father took a job at Detnerat. That introduced the ideas to us. And we agreed. My own father was a Hero. And he couldn't change anything, despite his strength. Oniyus are strong. You are my child. More than a Gensen, you are an Oniyu."
"And that makes me like you. A monster." The reaction to the word as Kakumeiso pulled away was sadness.
"Yes, it does. But the choice to be it is yours. I will not stop you, no matter what you do." She itted. "Is Moroshi out there?"
"No. He went to Jaku City."
"I see." Rapid footsteps came from a ageway and a black haired, green eyed young woman ran in. "Queen. What are you doing?"
"Touring the facility? What do you think I'm doing?! Getting Duke outta here!" The Villain got to the egg and snatched the wires off it.
^That thing's bad news.^ Kaikiban said.
^I know.^ Kakumeiso acted before thinking again and crashed into Queen, rumbling starting to occur.
"Dammit! Fucking Hero!" Her claws bared and an attack was about to come her way, Mrs Genyu leapt onto her and began to crush her head into the floor. "Judicator?!"
"They're my child. I'll kill you before you touch them." The egg had been knocked in the skirmish and was about to fall onto the ground. It began to fall and Mei caught it.
"This has got to be something bad-" The thing began to sting in her hands, and a blue substance was drawn into it.
^It is absorbing your soul!^ L.S. declared in horror. ^Allow me.^ Another thing started to sting and her head felt woozy, her vision going double for a second before righting itself. The rumbling was getting worse and a wall was burst open and something massive ed by. Collapsing, Kakumeiso breathed heavily, she didn't feel good. It felt as if something in her chest was missing. The egg rolled away towards the women, and it started to crack.
"^Shit! Get offa me!^" Queen spouted in Norwegian. Her arms glowed blue. Judicator kept her against the floor with expanding muscles.
"Mei! Go! The corridor there leads back to the surface!" She yelled at her daughter, wrestling to keep the Villain down. A giant hand burst through the ceiling and knocked her aside, picking Queen up.
"Queen! We're leaving!" Came another girl's voice.
"Gigantomachia's moving?! But that means..." the roof began to crack and collapse. "We'll meet again!" Rubble separated the two of them and Mei struggled up. Steam billowed out of her and Kaikiban formed effortlessly, looking unfazed by what had happened to their body. He picked her up and onto his back and set off. The corridor sloped up and a bright light met their eyes. The world outside was in utter chaos.

The old man jogged at an even pace and ed by some students. A yellow haired boy, a helmeted boy, a short mushroom girl and a tall boy with a scar over one eye. They called back to him in warning, but he ignored it. The sounds of battle grew louder and a rock came hurling towards him. It blasted to rubble on impact and he continued. Breaching the treeline, the fighters were all over the place. One of rather large stature was looking his way.
"Hey you! I thought you were on the Rear Guard?" The fat man ran beside him. Thunder boomed overhead and the crash of lightning rattled their bones, the streaks filling the sky.
"Plans changed." A screech sounded and a large orca looking man had a blue skinned woman by the throat. She was bombarding him with explosives. A ninja and a tree man were fighting a pair of other ladies, one was shooting orbs off and the other was turning into ribbons. The giant woman nearby punched into the villa and broke down a wall, revealing some hiding Villains. Brandishing the sword, the gears in the cross guard turned quickly and the air slashed at them when he sliced. Before the air cuts could reach them, a colossal iceberg erupted from the floor and sent the pretty lady into the air.
"Whoa! Booty incoming!" Fat Gum announced, running. "C'mon, Elder! This is no place to stand around." Something came flying at the seemingly distracted elder, it was caught easily.
"I know." Was his response. There was a white haired man standing on top of the ice, commanding the troops of the enemy.
"Ice... ow..." Giantess grit her teeth.
"It seems like you kids need an adult's supervision. Watch how a veteran does it, whippersnapper." His body glowed a bright yellow and he accelerated to the ice. "I'll do it in two minutes."
"Geten! On you!" Someone yelled to the man.
"Then I shall crush them!" He declared, icicles flying out. They stopped and evaporated on .
"Time corrodes all. And anything over freezing melts ice." Big Girl stood up with a tempered expression.
"Diced or cubed? How do you want it?!" She punched the ice repeatedly, the shattered pieces coming back together and into a giant sword.
"Well served." Came the bone chilling response. Before the blade could chop her into two, the veteran jumped with outstanding force; hopping off the air to reach the ice.
"Time Out." Touching the sword, it froze completely *pun not intended*. "Rewind." It evaporated.
^He completely disintegrates my ice?! But no Hero I know of can do that. His age! He must be an old one. They were that pressed for soldiers that they took crows out of their nests.^ Geten mused in mild annoyance. His features expressing anger. "How much can you rewind?!" Numerous pikes of ice grew out from all around and went in for the stab. But instead of rewinding them, geezer jumped onto one and used it as a pad to get in close. An ice wall blocked him and the Villain backed off on ice.
Right into the 'Line of Sight' of Mt Lady.
"Time to make myself relevant to the story!" She yelled, throwing a mean downwards punch, through another ice wall and straight into him. Landing in a pile of ice chunks, Geten struggled to get up.
Gang Orca had Curious by the face and blasting her with his ultrasonic attacks. In return she was turning him into a walking explosive and detonating the mines on him. They seemed to be in a draw. Her regeneration was fast enough to keep her from feeling the effects of the sound attacks and his body was too built to take much damage from her explosives. Her two underlings were 'dancing' with Edgeshot and Kamui Woods, and were not doing so well. It was clear that they had little to no experience in a big battle, and their opponents knew it.
Previous experience with them assisted Edge in busting through the multi eyed one's lung and put her out of commission. Kamui Woods created a ball of roots and smashed the ribbon girl into the wall with it. Her jaw clicked back into place and she began to float.
"Heroes... You took our father from us. So your deaths are your own doing!" The rings on her shone. Orca realised this and threw away his catch, screeching into her and disabled her movement.
"No. Your defeat is your own making." Edgeshot said something cool before sending five fingers as folded points through her lungs to take her out. Messing with her innards in the process to make sure she stayed down for a while. "You only had mystery and isolation on your side last time. But now even that works against you."
"For once, I stayed up during a fight with these two." Woods managed to joke at a time like that. At that point, Mt Lady busted down a wall of ice and floored the ice Villain.
"Let us converge!" Gang Orca began to rush headfirst. The floor exploding all around them and created a smoke screen. More Villains blocked them from going to help.
"Curious." The blue woman was next to Geten before he could be defeated.
"You alive, Geten?" She asked.
"Yes. I will not be defeated by a tall bimbo and a walking fossil!" He got up slowly, preparing his ice. It was tapped by her repeatedly.
"You have fifty shots. Make them count." Balls of ice sped out at the oncoming Hero, slashing through all of them. The separated pieces gave more options to explode. And so they did. Rolling when hitting the ground, the sword dragged along the floor and it broke apart with a glowing fuzz. Ice blocked it and shattered, the chunks coming together into needles. Weaving through them, he had his sword poised to strike. Curious blocked it with her gauntlet and loosed a concentrated bomb in his face. The needles gathered together and went to impale from behind.
"Time Out." The explosion stopped expanding and the ice was ducked under, hitting the ball of force and also detonated in a chain reaction. Not deeming her as worthy, he pistol whipped her with his hilt and got in front of Geten. "Chronological Misfire." Reaching out with his left hand, he balled it and the glowing energy re-emerged. It shone into the surrounding air and it shimmered. The punch into Geten's chest exploded violently as the time frozen air particles were moved into each other.
A rigid wall of ice was inside his heavy snow coat to take some of the shock, sending the Villain flying back. More of the frozen water floated behind him as a net. Wincing in the growing pain, the air began to go cold.
"You're really beginning to piss me off." Frost started to cover his face and ice materialised out of the water vapour in the air.
^He's cooling the water vapour in the air to add to his supply. How intuitive.^ Veteran thought, beginning to wheeze. He wasn't accustomed to fighting anymore. His two minute timer was almost up too. Just a personal thing really.
"Let me tell you a bone chilling fact." Geten began. "I manipulate ice. And water vapour is gaseous ice. Freezing that down with the solids around me will give me unlimited supply. And you are on your last legs." A barrier of ice materialised behind him. "I win this."
"Hmm." Fragments of ice spun rapidly around the Hero and built up into a twister.
"Now! Curious!" The remaining mines exploded in rapid succession. It looked to be the end of the Hero, but of course, they are never alone.
"No ya don't!" Fat Gum rushed in and got the old timer out of there, who looked completely fine.
"Ten seconds." Came his voice. "Time Out. Rewind." The ice that had touched him and all that it connected to evaporated. "You, young man, have a lot to learn." The rewind continued and the air shimmered in a heat haze.
"But those ten seconds are up." Curious noted, watching intently as the sword's gears stopped spinning. The old swordsman closed his eyes and pressed the tip of the sword to the floor. His body going lax. "Oetari... Erwin Oniyu falls."
"Sir?!" Gum looked shocked. Rumbling happened across the ground and a giant hand burst from the floor. The thunder and lightning overhead rattled their eardrums.

The war had just started and Nimbus was seizing Villains up in clouds and floating them away. A lizard looking woman took a lightning spear to the belly and got snatched up. A young girl yelled over all of the ruckus and mushrooms sprang to life. Laughing at how ridiculous it was, a metal sheet smacked some guy in the face from another student. Also pretty funny. The wall in front of him got busted down and a bearded man with one eye looked over the fighting. Something coiled in Michael's stomach. It was a ghost of the past. Someone that shouldn't be alive.
But he went into the ordeal knowing he was there.
The clouds went black and expanded to encom most of the area and lightning ran across it. His eyes dazzled blue and electronic energy gathered over his fists.
"We apologise for asking you to come in on such short notice." The head of the Public Safety Commission said, gesturing with a hand.
"^'Tis no problem.^ What's needed of me?" Papa Kouhei asked.
"It relates to your stay with us in Japan. We understand that you had a bad altercation with Australian Hero, Polaris?"
"That's why I'm in Japan. Couldn't operate as a Hero there after doing what I did."
"That was killing him? Kohitsu Kouhei that is."
"Yes. Where is this going, if I may be blunt?" He asked seriously.
"It has come to our attention that not only is Polaris alive and here in Japan, but also working in the League of Villains. He goes by 'Corvus' now."
"I know. I didn't want to it it. But I knew. I've known he was in Japan since my daughter reintroduced me to my niece. And he looks different now, but the images I've seen of Corvus... they're him."
"If we told you his location, what would you do?" The woman asked him suspiciously.
"Nothing."
"Nothing?"
"If I knew where he was, I wouldn't go near. I'd kill him. I swore it." He turned to leave.
"Well, you will have your wish granted sooner or later. The League has merged with the Meta Liberation Army. He is a part of it as a commander. We will have a date for an assault soon." Head Hero Person informed him matter of factly. She couldn't see his seething expression, veins pulsing on his forehead.
"^Thanks for the heads up, Chief.^"
"^KOHITSU!!!^" Nimbus bellowed, leaping forwards.
"^Michael!^" Polaris met the attack with a barrier of red light, pushing it back.
"^Why are you here? I gave you a second chance!^"
"^Because I believe it to be right!^" They gripped each others' hands and pushed, the floor cracking.
"^Murder is not right!^"
"^Look around! You think a positive outcome from this can happen without permanently dealing with one side? You cannot change anything if the enemy is alive.^" Corvus shifted his feet and managed to throw his blood brother into the second floor. Shooting off a red light, it forced a hole through and cracked it. A cloud orb had kept Mike safe. The Villain threw stones at the cloud prisons and freed his allies.
His hairs rose and a spear of lightning crashed into his personal barrier. Another followed it and ed with it, doubling the effect.
"^I said last time that I won't give you a third chance if I ever saw you again.^" The Hero loomed villainously, looking down at him. A blue aura expanded from the 'baddy' cracking the ground all around as a pillar of stone rose him to equal the level.
"^I don't want it. I think I've had enough of Villainy after this. Finally get to be a proper father.^"
"^She'll find out your secret eventually. Hannah most certainly wil-^"
"Hannah's dead!" Kohitsu returned the bellow. "She got sick. Pneumonia. Do you know what it's like to watch the person you love most slowly die in front of you?"
"^I watched my best friend become a murderer. I can imagine the feeling.^"
"I don't want to fight you, Mike. Not here."
"I know. So come quietly and I won't kill you." Nimbus made his ultimatum, electrocuting the Villain behind him. This got him to think.
"Astralda knows what I am. She enrolled into Shiketsu to train to capture me. You might be the closest man to me, Michael. But my daughter's dream stakes on taking me down. I won't be falling yet." Condensed air pockets formed in a purple aura around him.
"Then so be it."
