hello everyone! I'm back again, and with fanart this time! This drawing was originally going to be rook x vill(twst) but I got struck with the idea to instead do togachako! I absolutely love these sillies and I surprisingly finished this is in only 3 hours! Im still improving my digital art, since ive done traditional mostly, but i actually like how this turned out! I've actually never draw ochako or toga before so this was fun!

!!slight spoilers in next paragraph!!

Im going to go on a quick little art rant/explanation on the piece: When deciding to draw these two together, I had to think up what kind of expressions they needed to have. Toga has that "scary" smile she is drawn with (Its also the smile that Ochako says is pretty) while ochako as a short of worried smile, maybe a bit tired (?). Both of them are looking straight at the viewer, neither of them looking at each other. I wanted there to be a sort of power dynamic, Toga is "in control" while Ochako has been "submitted", she is indulging Togas fantasies. I used darker colors for the background to create a more unsettling ambience, and for contrast I used white for the border. For the white border, i used lilies. Lilies are a popular flower used in weddings and funerals, white lilies specifically symbolize innocence, rebirth/new beginnings, and purity. There is purity in Ochakos actions when she interacts with Toga, while Toga has a pure smile. This piece can be used to symbolize/represent the rebirth (not literally) Toga goes through during the war arc. She ends up saving Ochako, and hears her crush say she is the cutest in the world. I also added some wilting lilies to symbolize her death, and hearts into the border to show their love. Now this specific pose shows Toga wants to "become" Ochako, she is holding onto her face (pretty loosely) and Ochako doesnt stop her/is allowing her... Thats all for my rant!!
