Yes, the guidelines for this amino have been updated with more detail. In addition we added some small little things that did need to be added! But no big changes were made! So don’t get too worried ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

☞advertising☜

we do allow advertising only if you get permission from a leader or a curator! Keep in mind ing this amino doesn’t mean a gold mind to something to new comers on amino! Don’t take advantage of our Lil innocent beans.

✍how would we know you got permission to ?

when you ask and get permission to a leader will give a ‘r’ title, with that everyone knows that you got permission to .

✍what happens if I see someone advertising without the title?

immediately let a staff member know! Sometimes a person can a link that can steal information or can lead you to somewhere yucky!

➪if you are advertising without permission you will get 2 warnings and if not fixed after the warning a strike will come into place. After a strike has been listed on you for advertising without permission will lead into a ban.

☞Age☜

the average age allowed on the amino app is 13+! But there is a exception a 12 year old could amino only with parental permission!

we will check for your age when you first ing this amino! We will ask for birth year and how old you are at the moment, if you say you are 12 then we will ask for proof that your parent gave permission to be on this app. If no proof is given within a 48 hour time a ban will come in! Refusing to work with the staff will end up in a ban!

✍what if I feel uncomfortable saying my age in public?

that is perfectly ok! You must tell a staff member though, that is why pms are here. Feel free to private message us!

☞Bots☜

ok bots. Bots have been around on amino for quite sometime already, we really can’t stop bots and basically what they do is go into aminos reporting, banning people. Basically monitoring amino, private and public. They do help us staff time to time but sometimes it doesn’t.

there are such things are falsely getting banned by TA and that is because of bots. Depending on how high the number of bots are in a amino depends on the community. The only way a bit senses things are through text, they can sense pictures and texts. If any high offensive languages are being used in text by the , they are setting themselves up for a bot to sense them! How do you think team amino know whether or not to ban you?

✍how can I avoid getting false banned by a bot?

there is a 15 second rule that every on amino should know. Basically if you find whatever text/pic you sent might get sensed by a bot, you have at least 15 seconds to delete it before it does get sensed.

✍does the 15 second rule actually work?

no one really knows for sure but so far it has worked. For example I sent a text and deleted it in the 15 seconds, but my friend left their text in the public chat they ended up getting banned by TA. If it works is up for you to decide but it’s better being safe than sorry.

there is a difference between making jokes and actually bullying someone. It is absolutely not allowed! We are all old enough to know what bullying is but If you do not know what bullying is then I’ll go ahead and spell it out for you.

you can always pm a staff member privately and we will try our best to make sure you don’t have to talk or the person who is doing the bullying! You are loved and special, you don’t deserve to be treated like that!

Pretty straightforward: don’t post real gore or graphic violence to shock other . Don’t post anything that depicts the mutilation, torture, or harm of human beings, animals, or any thinking, feeling being. And don’t post anything that glorifies any of the above.

Mildly objectionable content and art are allowed as long as they aren’t repulsive and intending to shock viewers. To determine whether content crosses the line, we review the general context of the imagery and take things into consideration such as:

➪If it depicts actual torture, pain, dismemberment, or violence involving real people or animals

➪If it invokes a feeling of shock, sickness, or pain in the viewer

➪If it depicts bodily fluids

➪If the content is abnormally grotesque or exaggerated

➪If it is historical or famous, etc.

☞Our policies aim to remove content that depicts actual torture, pain, dismemberment, or violence involving real people or animals. If you feel harassed on Amino, we encourage you to block that . Then take a breath and flag them for review. Lastly, take some time to compliment yourself, because you’re great.

Yes that is a thing on amino, some people can make a completely like yours and try to pretend to be you.

impersonation- an act of pretending to be another person for the purpose of entertainment or fraud.

If you see someone doing this immediately report them to a staff member! We do not allow this at all and don’t tolerate it one bit. If you are impersonating someone’s and pretending to be them, we will ask you nicely to change it. If not followed a strike then a ban will happen.

We aren’t going to list off every type of weird thing we don’t allow, but a good rule of thumb is: if you think it’s too sexual, it probably is, and it shouldn’t be posted here.

☞Nudity is not allowed. We use the 50/50 rule.If over 50% of sexual body parts are exposed, the content is not allowed.

Explicit sexual content is not allowed.Implicit sexual content is not allowed. Some examples of this include:

If you see someone on Amino discussing harming themselves or others, let us know. And if you are going through something yourself, know you are not alone and that there are resources out there to help you through it.

➪I personally will not add on to this topic since this is a very triggering and sensitive topic. Yes people come to amino to help cope with depression and other mental illnesses. Just don’t become too dependent on amino for your problems, there are councilors! None of us are professionals in that type of category but we can listen and you.

We want everyone in the Community to enjoy the content and discussions they want. Some activities ruin that experience. Some examples:

➪Promoting yourself, your Amino, or anything else about you in a repetitive or impersonal manner

➪Automated posting, messages, comments...or automated anything

➪Making the same post, message, or comment over and over and over and over and over again (really, once is enough)

If you feel the compulsion to do any of these things, maybe take that energy and put it into something productive, like messaging your elected representatives.
