My cat Luna, if she could apply for a job, would be a physical therapist. Her specialties would include acupuncture, massage, yoga, and cardio, as well as promoting a good sleep schedule. I decided to include a bit of an “ad” for her, which is as follows.

Hi, my name’s Luna! I iz a physical therapist, and I’ve got lots of experience! First, ya gotta enjoy my acupuncture and massage. All ya have to do is lay down and I got the paws and claws to take care of the rest. I know juuust where to knead to take away all those aches and pains.

Next, ya need to get some stretching in! Just follow along and I’ll teach ya how to sneak in through mostly closed doors and fit into the tiniest of spaces. We cats are masters of flexibility, so you’s in good paws! Some hoomans even say we’re part liquid or that we don’t have a spine.

Finally, the fun part. Zoomies! Get your heart rate up and work those muscles by chasing a favorite toy around the house at three AM. Make sure to be as loud and obnoxious as possible, it’ll help I promise. Don’t worry about waking anyone else up. Just be as cute as possible when they yell at ya and they’ll forgive you, is no problem!

Oh, and don’t forget to take lots of naps. Naps are veerrry important. Ya can choose a bed, but I find that a cardboard box or armchair is much more comfy. Of course, ya could always try sleeping on a friend’s lap, but ya might be a bit big for that... anyway, good luck and see you next time!

Luna wouldn’t be all that good at her job, unfortunately. Her ideas are fantastic for cats, but not so much for humans.
