Darkness hid itself away within the half-drow’s heart; born there, yet unlocked just the same. As if the key to his suffering was just that— a thing that would break him free from his life’s bind.
The Goddess chose Kazimir. Even in his youth, he knew that. The Dark Urge of Nachte, a reign that scarred the realm. To bring more souls to their final destination, where Hel waited for them. It was Her touch when She sent this soul to be born to Esfir T’sarran; it was Her touch when Kazimir suffered.
If only Kazimir had known the truth— if only he would have broken the cycle the first time. Before his death. Before it really began. Alas, the half-drow was but a cog in the spinning wheel of abuse.
As for the reborn Dark Knight…
Would he be any different?
Could he, a shadow forced unto the light, become a new man— break the cycle?
Even with Darkness within his heart, bearing a burden that always would weigh upon his shoulders… Could the steward of Hel turn a new page in this never-ending cycle?
The gods of this world watched his every step—
All Kazimir had to do, henceforth, was break the cycle.
For those who were lost. For those who could yet be saved.

──────── 𝐁 𝐀 𝐒 𝐈 𝐂 𝐒 ────────
─ 𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄 ; Kazimir T’sarran
”Kazimir” is a form of a name of human descent, Casimir. A name that has origins in Slavic languages— meaning “destroyer of peace.” An apt name for the steward of Hel. A destroyer in peace in all but desire.
Den T’sarran is the place of his birth, as well as the ruling drowish Den of Nachte. As most of these pseudo-Houses are, Den T’sarran is led by a Matriarch— the Queen of Nachte, his mother. Despite her having long-since been replaced as ruler to the kingdom of Nachte, Kazimir bears the name with anything but pride.
─ 𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐇 ; 24
November 12 ; Scorpio ; Veritas Castle, Nachte
Kazimir was born in Veritas Castle— overseen by Esfir’s midwife— during the early hours of the twelfth of November. As a so-called prince in a land of misandry, his existence was not well-celebrated. While celebrated by some as the coming of a new age, those “in charge” were far from happy about his birth. This was because, despite her older age, Esfir had yet to bear a daughter. And without one, she had no true heirs.
─ 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 ; Male
AMAB ; he/him
Assigned male at birth, while continuing to identify as such later in life, makes Kazimir a cisgender man. Raised in a society of heavy misandry, he struggles against his gender to this day. While he does not desire womanhood, he does believe that it would certainly have made things easier for him growing up.
In the years following his exile, leading up to the present, he discovered that places beyond the kingdom of Nachte were much fonder of men.
─ 𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐘 ; Half-Drow, Half-Human
Undercommon, Elvish, Common ; Unreligious
A half-drow, half-human— though his identity as half-human is almost indiscernible. Kazimir takes precious little after his father.
As he was raised under Drowish rule, his first language is Undercommon, followed by Elvish. He learned Common after his exile, where he was essentially forced to adapt.
While certainly unable to deny the existence of the gods, he does not follow any particular course set about by them. Hel may own his soul, but he desires to be free of Her wretched grasp— no matter the cost.
─ 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 ; Bisexual
Demiromantic ; Male Lean
His experience with attraction is considered to be built on tumultuous grounds. While attracted to genders like and unlike his own, Kazimir does not experience romantic attraction towards those he is not deeply familiar with. If he is attracted to someone, they are more often than not to be male, if not masculine-aligned

Kazimir was granted a new chance at life— but he could not erase the path, nor its scars upon his once-tender soul.
He is denoted by a desire to protect those who cannot protect themselves, no matter the cost. Yet still does the rage of the Dark Urge lurk beneath the surface. Under the path of the Dark Knights that went before, Kazimir was brought back to bring true terror to the other heinous monsters of this begotten realm. With his experience as one of them, the half-drow vowed to change. For the better.
There was once a time when Kazimir’s emotional state was uncontrollable, inconsolable. No longer— the Kazimir of this day and age is in-tune with those wanton emotions. He must accept them, and ask himself to forgive them, before he can truly walk the path he was meant to tread.

─ 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 ; Diamond
Vermilion Eyes ; White Hair ; Amethyst Skin, Gray Undertone
A gaunt face of diamond-esque features, his cheekbones are sharp— his lips full. His eyes, a vibrant vermilion, are striking, as though a reminder of what he once was: truly fearsome. The half-drow’s dreadlocks are denoted by metal jewelry woven within. His skin is a deep amethyst, with a gray undertone.
─ 𝐅𝐈𝐆𝐔𝐑𝐄 ; 198.12 cm, 6’6”
265 lbs ; Mesomorph ; Inverted Triangle
Impeccably tall and just as muscular— it is hard to imagine Kazimir as an elf at all, let alone half-drow. This is due to the dimorphism between male and female drow— where males are typically smaller.
His shoulders are broad and strong, making his stature even more imposing. Kazimir has long since replaced the fragile, wounded prince he once was.
─ 𝐒𝐓𝐘𝐋𝐄 ; Gothic, Dark, Steel
Dark Knight ; piercings - yes
The half-drow’s ears are gauged. Kazimir enjoys the colors black and red, as well as capes; a typical Dark Knight. This man knows no subtlety— when not wearing foreboding, spiked armor, he is in a corset shirt, a black cape with red velvet lining, and thigh high boots. On his right shoulder is a leather pauldron with metal spikes, where his cape descends.

─────── 𝐇 𝐄 𝐀 𝐋 𝐓 𝐇 ───────
─ 𝐏𝐇𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 ; Excellent
Reborn into his body at the peak of his reign, Kazimir is in perfect physical health. The Dark Knight is prone to training too hard— often injuring himself in the process. While he is in no shape to spend much on expensive, decadent meals— he does use what coin he has to feed himself well enough.
─ 𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋 ; Poor
Unspecified
Kazimir is an inward person, whose psychological woes are kept locked away in his mind. None are aware of the existence of the Dark Urge inside him— whose manifestation is more often than not coaxing him into committing heinous acts. As much as it troubles him, as much as it scares him— this ability to become who he once was— he keeps his hatred, his fear under lock and key.

─ 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖 ; Wanderer
Dark Knight ; Lower Class ; Unhealthy Lifestyle
After his resurrection as one of the Dark Knights, Kazimir has since been wandering the realm. He acts as a mercenary, whose sole reason for living is to destroy the evils of this realm. His deep sense of morality in this regard is considered valuable, be it by people with wholly innocent desires, or those without. Due to this, Kazimir often lives an unhealthy, beleaguered lifestyle.

────── 𝐑 𝐄 𝐋 𝐀 𝐓 𝐈 𝐎 𝐍 𝐒 ──────
─ 𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 ; Esfir T’sarran
600 ; Dead ; Hateful
Queen of Curses, Matriarch of Den T’sarran, and Kazimir’s mother. A name once synonymous with the evil of the world. A woman who was deeply paranoid of what her son was capable of, and a monster that received her just desserts. She died by Kazimir’s blade, pathetically and pitifully. He took up her reign shortly after, up until his original death.
─ 𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 ; Florianus T’sarran
45 ; Dead ; Nonexistent
Simply put, Kazimir never knew his father. He was killed long before he would have ed him— for the crime of simply existing beyond his purpose. Ilya, his half-brother, was the one forced to put him to the blade.
─ 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐅-𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 ; Ilya T’sarran
240 ; Alive ; Deadly, One-Sided Hatred
As the first son, Ilya endured much of the same abuse that Kazimir did. Unlike his half-brother, however, he was not possessed of the Dark Urge— rather, he was a revolutionary at heart. Thus why, in the end, it was Ilya who put his conquests to an end.
─ 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 ; The Dark Urge
??? ; Dead ; One-Sided, Hateful
The Dark Urge that manifests itself under Kazimir’s eyes only. It, or rather he, appears to be a reflection of Kazimir’s past life. Those selfsame urges, granted by Hel, to destroy— maim— tarnish. He taunts the half-drow even in the present day, reminding him of his myriad crimes against the world that he slowly grew to love.

childhood abuse & neglect, death, violence, war, general dark content warning.
A stain upon the line of T’sarran—
That was Kazimir, and that was all he would ever be.
Mother told him as much— reminded him of it often. That he was an insignificant, pitiless cur that did not deserve his birthright.
Perhaps it was for this reason that he was chosen— to be Hel’s steward. To be the Dark Urge, borne of the ultimate desire for revenge upon the realm that hated him for being born. A world of merciless pain, that showed him no love at all. He hated them, too, and he would make them all pay.
For every past transgression. For every bruise, broken bone, bloodied nose.
Yet fear still lay within the boy’s tender heart— and that was why the Goddess of Death was able to further ruin him. To mold him into Her never-faltering agent of Death. By the time Kazimir reached his eighteenth summer, his Nachtean reign had already begun— beginning with the murder of his mother, the Queen of Curses.
Senseless slaughter. A phrase that described the Dark Urge’s existence to most. But to some… Those precious few, the violence, the Death was not purely senseless. No, it all had a purpose. The rage that lurked in the Nachtean son’s heart— it was insatiable. And that propelled him forward, in need of vengeance for the suffering he endured.
This terror lasted until the Dark Urge’s death at the hands of his half-brother, Ilya T’sarran. He was but twenty-four when he died— and yet, the suffering he doled out unto the realm he so despised…
Finally, with the end of his existence— the people were able to rest without fear. Almost as though the Dark Urge never existed at all, after many years without.
Despite it all, Kazimir did not wish to be forgotten. He did not want to fade into nothingness. Even if it was something truly undeserved for such a monster, perhaps his will to live was why the Dark Urge was chosen. Because he did not want to fade into the annals of time.
Once, the tale of the Dark Knight was but a myth.
Those who were brought into this world during impending calamities, reborn unto it to save the people that once hated them. Ironic— that Kazimir was chosen… That he, too, would become part of the myth. The Dark Urge would have laughed at the mere thought of saving this place of hate and deceit.
But what about the son of Nachte, who did not want to be forgotten? What about Kazimir, who wanted to change— live— breathe in this new world? He wanted to change for the better, Gods, he wanted forgiveness. But forgiveness was earned.
And thus, as he was set upon the Dark Knight’s path, he knew what he must do—
To make them the forgotten, hopeful child. Forevermore.
