Shoshimin: How to be ordinary

This series has a lot going for it. It's written by the same authority who wrote hyouka. Right off the bag that's where I'm going to start. This series is hyouka with much more intense topics, yet a lot more predictable mysteries. Don't get me wrong I adore these characters. Osanai by herself is so a complex and twisted character it's insane. The dynamic of these two is unmatched. I adore jorogo and osanai. These two are oil & water and sugar & salt. They're such a perfect match that it feels like they aren't. It's incredible writing on the character aspect. Season 1 was incredible but predictable. Season 2 so far is still airing but it's been a mess. Then two splitting apart and dating two randoms upset me. The two they got with clearly weren't each other and it was obvious that those two were comparing their lovers to one another of course ending all their relationships. By the way osanai going as far to trick her bf into believing she was an arsonist just so he could blame her and leave him just because he went in for a kiss is diabolical. The mysteries aren't on the same level as hyouka, death note or monogatari, but still very very fun. The last thing I want to touch on is the production is top tier. Animation, voice acting, etc. It's all very very good. The whole vibe is perfect. The cutaway shots remind me a lot of the monogatari series and that is a very quick way into my heart. I like this series more than hyouka but that's mainly due to the two mcd being better tbh
