Ladybug flinched at Adrien's merciless words that stab her like a knife. It was as if he was slowly turning and twisted the knife deeper and deeper into the chasm of her heart. This wasn't the boy that she loved.
"You're right." Ladybug said. "I don't know what it's like to lose a loved one to death, but I do know this." She clenched her fists. "I'm this close to losing you. Not by death, but by grief. We all lose ourselves sometimes, and we have every right to grieve. However, you have to know that you will always have someone around. Whether it's your friends, your servants, or even me. We will always be here for you. Your parents will always be you because they live on within you. They will guide you on your decisions and comfort you whenever you want. Because they love you. And they will keep loving you no matter what happens. So please Adrien. Come back into the light, away from the darken shadows for them. For your friends. Do it for me."
Something cracked inside Adrien's mind because after her words touched his shattered heart, he crumbled down to his knees and cupped his face to try to hide the streaming waterfall of tears down his angelic face.
Ladybug kneeled down next to him; hugging his shoulders and pulling him closer to her. Kissing his cheeks, nose, forehead, and finally a quick peck at his soft lips. She couldn't help smirking at his emotional behavior because he was usually and most cool and collected person she knew. Every cloud rains sometimes. Except he was more like a shower of cats and dogs in his flow of tears.
"I'm s-so s-sorry. I-" Adrien sputtered, but gave up after hiccups started attacking his throat and he sounded worst than a toad.
Ladybug silenced him. "There's no need for you to feel sorry. You did nothing wrong, it was just your mentality trying to prevent you from feeling to protect you. Your body was only thinking about what was best for you. That's all." They shared a quiet chuckle.
Suddenly like a lightning bolt, a thick piece of grey cloth was wrapped around her mouth like a gag and when she tried to speak, her screams became muffled. Adrien saw her panic, but his reaction was slow so his mouth had a gag on before you could say 1-2-3. The last sight they saw was a huge duffel sack going over their heads and bodies before they both ed out.
