It was so dark. So dark. Ladybug couldn't see a thing. Her eyes barely picked up a trace of a never-ending tunnel of pitch black. She was so tired. So very tired.

Where was she? All she could recall was seeing Adrien's fearful face. What happened? Was something attacking them or someone? She was too exhausted to think clearly.

A distorted voice entered her head. It was masculine and had a many emotions running through the words. Fear, panic, and horror. It was calling to her saying her name over and over.

Ladybug.

She didn't know who would be saying her name.

Ladybug.

She wanted to know who was trying their best to reach her.

Ladybug.

She commanded her nerves to connect to her loose arm.

Ladybug.

She pulled on her muscles; desperate to reach her hand out to the voice.

Ladybug.

It was so close, yet so far.

Ladybug.

Why couldn't she reach him?

Ladybug.

She was sinking back in oblivion.

Ladybug.

Deeper and Deeper.

Ladybug.

The light was fading.

Ladybug!

She heard it. He was screaming; begging for her to be strong. To fight against the darkness. Fight it. Fight it!

Ladybug!

All it took was another scream. With a determined glance at the disappearing brightness. Ladybug tugged her arms and legs out of imaginative mud and swung herself to the calling light.

With a final leap, she grasped the light and it's brilliance shook her mind. Closing her eyes, Ladybug waited till the light faded.

Moments later, she peaked open one bluebell eye. Than she opened the other one. The first thing she noticed was a face. A boy's face with rosy skin, sunshiny hair, and green eyes. Eyes that were fairer than the prettiest jewels in the world. Brighter than emeralds.

Then she noticed how much in pain she was in. She groaned as she tried to lay up in the boy's arms. She saw streaming tears cascade down his cheeks. She almost rolled her eyes and smirked. He can be such an emotional dork sometimes.

Her surprise was indicated when he swoop down and embraced her in a fierce hug. Warm and inviting yet so loving.

"I-I t-thought I l-lost you." Adrien whimpered.

She brushed and stroked his hair. "Silly Adrien." She giggled. "It's going to take a lot more than a vase in the face to take me out."

That was an intense moment for them! Wow, who knew that a vase could do that much damage? LOLZ!

Hope you all enjoyed! Until next time...
