Yo my outstanding kitty-cats! I'm back with Chapter 9 to my SAO AU! I've been a slowpoke lately in getting these out, but I've been quite the busy bee with my 1000 followers one-shots and drawing. I hope you all understand. Nevertheless, enjoy the chapter and stay #Miraculous!

Cat Noir glanced furtively back and forth between his rather angry lady and annoyed waitress. The two have been staring each other down in the face for a few moments now. Both were wondering who would make the first move.

At this point, numerous other players were also glaring at the disruption occurring. Most of the guests just wanted a nice, peaceful lunch to look forward too. Not a circus.

If he was being honest, Cat Noir would forever be grateful to his lady's impeccable timing. He was relieved that someone stepped in at the right time. Things were getting way too heated for him between the brunette waitress and himself. However, what would happen now that M'lady pretty much angered the entire restaurant committee? Nothing good, that's for sure. Her temper was not one anyone wanted to evoke if on purpose or by accident.

Cat Noir groaned internally. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to pay for the damage that LB will caused for where this conversation was going, but the odds weren't looking so good for him. The swordsman was saving his cash for some food, but everything comes with a price. The blond silently cursed Hawkmoth for trapping him here.

Tick tock. Tick tock. The dark chocolate brown grandfather clock went. Each of the three hands:the second, minute, and hour clicking rhythmically. The beating synchronized in unison with Cat Noir's palpitating heartbeat.

Lila spoke first. "What's your deal princess?" She was quite irritated when this random girl rudely interrupted her appointment with a handsome swordsman. "Got a few screws loose?" Gesturing to the certain sliced in half round table.

Ladybug's hands were still clenched into fists. She smirked at the pretty girl's cockiness. Oh, she was going to pay for saying that she, herself, was weaker than this lowlife filled with nothing more than worthless lies. It's time for this girl to meet her fist. This'll be entertaining.

The bluenette cracked her knuckles in preparation. "You're the one with no brains for challenging me."

Ladybug applauded herself when her opponent's face paled as if she saw a ghost. "W-wait a s-second! You're-"

"In the flesh." Ladybug wittily replied.

Lila trembled. She wasn't ignorant. She heard of the legendary strength and abilities of THE "Lucky Charm" of the battlefield. It was one of the reasons she lied about being friends with her in the first place.

With it, she had gotten into a high level guild, founded a job, and made so many mindless goons do her bidding(All which she considered her friends and as she said, quote unquote, "That's what friends do for each other").

It was a sneaky way to grab much wanted popularity and fame. After all, what were the chances that Ladybug herself would confront her about it. Almost zero. The chestnut haired girl didn't live under a rock her whole life. Yet, here she was about to be beaten to a pulp by one of the top front liners.

Lila couldn't back down though. The hordes of players had her backed into a corner. They had surrounded herself and her adversary;itching for some action. Not to mention, the hot boy from earlier had a front row seat and was evaluating the sticky situation. She couldn't act like a wimp now! Her reputation as a great swords woman would be tainted as ruined!

The sunshine blond-haired boy from before gave her a pitying smile. She snarled. She'll show him she was way better than some blue-haired tower climber. She'll show everyone here that she was better than her. Yeah, she'll win hot stuff's heart and more popularity/fame than she could ever need in her lifetime. Once she wipes the floor with HER.

When another minute ed, the bluenette swiped the air and presses the challenge button. A screen pops up in front of the absolutely terrified waitress to accept. The evergreen eyed player clicked the green challenge accept circle.

A timer appears above them. 60 seconds.

Lila summons her short, sharp knife. Unfortunately for her, she didn't have her sword with her inventory. The brunette had left her weapons Arsenal in the staff room; thinking she wouldn't need it to serve anyone who refused to pay. Having the knife at her disposal usually did the trick. She glances for a moment to grasp what weapon her enemy would chose. 45 seconds.

To her bewilderment, the girl didn't even pull out a weapon! She merely readied her hands in a combat formation and spread'd out her feet expertly for best movement and momentum. 30 seconds.

Lila grinned. Confident she would win already? She could use the girl's overconfidence to her advantage. "No weapon? Already certain you'll win against me?" 15 seconds.

Cat Noir smirked. Using it here and now? Lila didn't know this, but his lady has been working herself to death to perfect her brand new, original technique. Days of hard work against Volpina's and his own blade of intense sparring, Ladybug had mastered fighting with only her own two hands and feet.

It was only to be used against any orange or red players if they crossed paths or if she didn't have any weapons with her, but Cat Noir couldn't help, but be sorry for the poor people who have to face her immense wrath. Lila now included. 6 seconds.

Jade green and ocean blue eyes narrowed. It was almost time.

5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Begin!

As Ladybug predicted, Lila made the first attack. She came in at full force, swinging her knife to injure LB's arm. To the bluenette however, it was as if the chestnut-haired waitress was bolting in slow motion.

Dodging easily, Ladybug side-stepped her, whirling around, and pushed roughly against the liar's maroon romper making her stumble.

Recovering fairly quickly, Lila turned around; racing for another strike. Rushing for the intent to kill. Punching fiercely, knife still in hand, Lila aimed for her opponent's sickeningly beautiful, unmarred face.

Ladybug swerved her head left and right, side to side to carefully avoid the lethal blade. Cautiously strategizing where to land a good, solid punch. She needed an opening. Her footing was lost as Lila switched to her hips. Leaping backwards to catch herself, she landed on her hands.

She pried the knife out of the brunette's hand with her light pink flats:kicking it a few feet away; injuring the waitress's hand slightly. Lila growled; miffed and shocked that her weapon was gone.

Ladybug used the almond-haired girl's shock to her advantage as she bounced back like a cat onto her legs. Wasting no time, she saw her clear opening. Clutching her fingers into a rock hard fist, she slammed it into Lila's stomach; sending her flying into the remaining shattered table debris.

Lila's health bar dropped to yellow. She was panting: breathless even at the unfathomable strength of the legendary "Lucky Charm". You didn't have to be a genius to know that she was exhausted.

Her face was cut and bruised from the sharp table cracks. It hurt to even flinch. Her back had taken the worst of it: crushing into some of the already broken wooden parts. Coughing from the dust, she opened one fading green eye.

Ladybug sighed; quite irritated that their fight even happened. Gazing up, the timer beeped. Winner is Ladybug, it read.

"You know why you lost Lila?" Ladybug asked annoyed.

Lila said nothing. Tears threatened to escape her cloudy vision. Scolded by one of the top players in the MMO. How embarrassing. She was a failure.

"Because you lied. And you know what I believe? Liars are losers," The bluenette finished; not particularly caring that her adversary was now sobbing. Noticing that Cat Noir, Volpina, and their new guild mates were present, she gestured for them to leave. "Let's go." Not even sparing a second glance over her shoulder.

"Ladybug?" When she didn't respond, he continued.

"Ladybug." Cat Noir said firmly. Still no response.

"Ladybug!" He hardly ever raised his voice, but this was important.

"What?!" She shouted back; clearly agitated at his incessant pestering.

Volpina, Ivan, and Mylene winced at their yelling from the other room. They had just arrived at the new apartment building where the group would be staying and those two were already at each other's throats. Volpina thought it best to leave those two alone with some much needed...privacy. The Zombie Skullcrushers avidly agreed.

Jules was picking and fighting with her silver arm mirror while the rosette pink dressed girl known as Rose was cleaning the minuscule room's floor.

"Are you sure, they'll be alright?" Mylene asked timidly: worried for the two of them.

Volpina grinned. "Girl, don't worry your pretty little face. There's a reason why those two are partners when it comes to stuff like this. You see, even though Ladybug will never it it, Cat's everything to her. And it's the same for him. Those two have been through a lot together so they'll work it out. Nothing's stopped them before and it won't start now. Trust me, if there's one person who can put the reins on the "Lucky Charm", it's that cat." She said; nudging the amber-eyed girl for extra .

Mylene smiled brilliantly; glancing back toward the rusty wooden door separating them from the two legendary front liners.

"What happened back there?" He hissed.

"What do you mean? I don't have a clue what you're babbling on about." Ladybug retorted hotly.

"Oh, I don't know. How about the fact that you pretty much demolished a restaurant, got into a fight with a waitress, and made ME pay for the damage?! You do realize that I'm broke and starving to death right now, right?!" As if on cue, his stomach growled like a bear waking up all crabby from winter hibernation. "Oh, why don't you shut up!" Cat Noir roared at his god-forsaken tummy.

"Oh, I'm sorry that you have to suffer with that cranky belly of yours while, I, on the other hand, am having my name dragged through the mud by this wannabe, nobody liar who thinks she's stronger than me!" Ladybug screamed back.

Cat Noir racked his fingers through his tousled, golden hair rather adorably almost making Ladybug blush a thousand different shades of red. Almost. He took a deep breath; calming himself. Yelling back and forth obviously wasn't getting them anywhere.

"Look, don't at least think that you were a little too harsh on her?" He inquired with a gentler tone: sounding more like his usual self. "I mean. You made her cry for Pete's sake!" The cat boy didn't know what he was doing with his hand gestures at the time, but it didn't seem to matter.

Ladybug scoffed; crossing her arms to show she wasn't changing her mind. "Trust me, I was being merciful compared to what I really wanted to do." Cat Noir wouldn't doubt that on his life. He's seen his lady at her full, limitless power during the boss levels and it wasn't anything to laugh about.

The electric green-eyed boy sighed exasperatedly. What in the world was he going to do with this girl? She's so...so...stubborn. The most obstinate person he had ever met in his cat's nine lives.(Pun intended)

"Is her lying about being stronger than you really ticking you off that much for you go to the extreme of humiliating her like that?" Cat Noir murmured; loud enough for her to hear. "Or is it...something else?"

Ladybug stiffened; hesitating to respond to those innocent, sweet-hearted kitty-cat eyes of his making him glow more radiantly than she would have liked. Darn, his family's good genes; it was destroying her judgment.

Debating whether to lie or not was more difficult than ever. In all honesty, she despised the sight of another girl flirting to her partner and complimenting his abnormally attractiveness. Please, she was the only one allowed to take notice of her friend's perfect face and body! Wait, no. That's not what she means...

However, if she lied; she would be contradicting her own words and would deem herself another loser to Liar City. Ugh, it was a disaster. She was a total hypocrite for even thinking about it in the first place! Either shatter her honor or her morals. Pick. One.

Ladybug squeezed her eyes shut; completely at the mercy of her impossible choice. What to do, what to do...Wait, there was another choice. Yes, it'll create a delay for now. Give her time to ponder her jumbling thoughts. Yes, it was perfect!

Waltzing to the near busted door, she opened it; not even glancing back. "I need some fresh air." With that, she softly closed the door and bolted like lightning out of the building before anyone could stop her. Leaving behind, a rather baffled, totally lost kitten.
