Official Deltarune progress update

Hello, Deltarune fans!

We know you have been eagerly waiting for good news this 2020. Here is your occasion!

On his Twitter, Toby Fox announced his collaboration with the Japanese magazine Famitsu for a special issue celebrating Undertale’s 5th anniversary. The cover is an official art piece drawn by Temmie which you can view following this link to an article on the matter.

He also announced that a small update on Deltarune would be provided on the 15th of September, which we will be very happy to report when the time comes.

For now, we can take a look at the page of official Deltarune progress screenshots shown at the top of this post. Also unveiled by Famitsu, we are rather certain that these pictures will look a bit different from your usual expectations for the other chapters of Deltarune.

The following information was also released by Toby Fox on that same page:

- He jokingly wrote that he had written a very long report on Deltarune’s progress, but that he shortened it for people who don’t have Internet and can’t buy the physical magazine; this way, they can read it more easily through a window while ing by a shop. (It’s typical Toby Fox humour, don’t think about it too hard).

- He mentions that most of the game design is finished, as well as the first draft of the dialogues of the entire game. He thinks that development for Chapter 2 is going faster than for Chapter 1 and that it’s sailing smoothly.

- He also precised that he still suffers from a wrist injury that occurred 7 months ago but that a small team are helping him with the game.

- He recommends to ‘forget about him and Deltarune for the time being’ instead of waiting, and claimed that he was the most hyped person regarding the release of the full game.
