A little bit of background

Pharaoh was found on the side of the highway when he was but a couple months old. He was brought to our home to be simply watched over until someone else came to get him, but clearly it didn’t work that way. He became attached to me. And honestly I’m happy he did.

As he grew, we noticed that he has a serious fear of men and he’s extremely anxious around them.

Anyways, as we worked together, him and I, I began to take him out places. Together we worked hard to help him step past those boundaries that hold him back. Luckily his curiosity overpowered his fear.

He’s still a little weary of men, but he’ll walk up to them and sniff them now. Something he never would have done previously. I’m proud of him for overcoming his fears. He even figured out some things that he does like.

He loves kids, he’s very gentle with toddlers. And carrots are his favorite treat.

He also learned that a squirt bottle is a water dispenser.

Pharaoh became my best friend. The first dog I’ve ever had, ended up being the reason I climb out of bed everyday.

His first birthday was on May 11th, Mother’s Day. I took him out and spoiled him at a pet store. I bought him pretty much everything he touched. Including a $20 Lamby be really liked.

Anyways, I’m proud of how far he’s come, and I’m happy that he’s my happy little boy.

He has such an infectious personality, and he’s such a delight to be around. I love him so much, and I plan on expanding his world as much as I possibly can.

I hope that you love him just as much as I do. He deserves all the head kisses and pats in the entire world. :heart:
