Adrien tried to wipe the streaming tears off his face, but he was laughing so hard that the tears kept coming.
He had really thought that he had lost his lady; he also blamed himself because it was his fault in the first place.
Even though Ladybug told him multiple times that she was okay, Adrien insisted that she rest a while. She groaned, but he was just about as stubborn as her.
"So why were you holding a vase?" Ladybug asked peculiarly.
Adrien scratched the back of his neck anxiously. "I thought I heard something like an unwanted intruder so I wanted to be armed."
Ladybug giggled. He was such a nervous dork. And she loved him for it.
Adrien stopped scratching. "Anyway, why were you here at this time of night?"
Ladybug smiled slyly. "I did say I would see you again didn't I?" Adrien sighed. Yes, you did. The moment after was the sweetest moment that he had ever felt in his life. He recalled the sweet aroma of vanilla and the delicate brushing of her lips against his. It was heavenly.
"Yeah..." Adrien sighed again. Ladybug poked his nose to try to snap him out of his dream-like trance.
"Oh, Prince Charming?" Ladybug sang. When she noticed that he was still day-dreaming, she rolled her eyes. Guess it's time for Plan B.
Ladybug grabbed the collar of his sleeping garments and pulled him toward her face. Adrien's blissful green eyes flashed when he realized what was happening. With no argument whatsoever, Adrien let her take the lead.
The kiss was softer than their first kiss, but it was just as eventful. Even if she kissed him over and over; he would never get sick of it. Not in a million years. Never.
A smirk crept up his lips as she let him breathe. "I never knew that you were that good of a kisser Ladybug."
"Shut up." A silken pillow was thrown into his face as they spent the night laughing about their joyful reunion.
