Belle's wiki hasn't been posted on dogs amino yet, so here she is!

Belle is my 11yr old Bluetick Coonhound that I've owned since she was a puppy. We've had many family dogs, but Belle was my first ever dog of my own.

Belle is a sucker for anybody that will give her attention. She LOVES to be pet. Like it is absolutely absurd how she never gets sick of cuddles. She tends to run up to people and rake her claws down their leg to get their attention, and then begs to be pet. Wichita doesn't often earn her what she's looking for.

She doesn't seem to realize how big she is either. Like she can't comprehend that she is too big to be a lap dog, so she'll jump on your lap and almost crush you.

She's not even that large of a dog, but when she's trying to stand on you she suddenly appears a while lot bigger, lmao

Belle tends to always have a guilty look on her face... Most of the time because she is. She's a real funny dog with her weird expressions, lol. But you can tell by the look in her eye when she did something she knows she shouldn't. Most of the time it involves stealing food off the counters or out of the garbage.

For example one morning I was making breakfast while the dogs were chillin on the couch. I had put my bagel in the toaster and I went outside to grab something. And when I came back inside, Belle had all four feet standing on the counter with a bagel in her mouth. THE TOASTER WASN'T EVEN DONE YET. She took it out of the toaster while it was STILL COOKING.

I yelled her name and she jumped off the counter and tore off into the house SCREAMING. Even though hadn't even touched her. The way she was screaming sounded like I was beating her. She tends to be awful dramatic if that hasn't been made clear.

So idk if that makes her smart, or dumb. Yes she can be a bit of a turd sometimes, but she can also be so sweet.

Belle is always finding a way to cuddle with me, weaseling her way on to my lap and it's really so adorable. And while it can be frustrating, she's just too cute to ignore.

Belle really is an amazing dog. I love her to death, and can't wait to keep making more memories with her.

She's definitely on the old side, so she probably doesn't have too much time left, but that's one of those things that urges you to enjoy every moment!
