It's been two weeks since King Gabriel ed away. All the citizens of Northern were in a uproar at this newfound news. It was without warning and everyone was worried. Who shall continue the royal bloodline.
Grief and tragedy spread across all of . King Bourgeois of Southern gave his condolences in upmost respect. Princess Chloe couldn't care less;all she wanted was Adrien.
The kingdoms were in a Great Depression. All of Northern and Southern were falling astray in this time of sorrow. However, the boy who was hurt the most was none other than Prince Adrien Agreste himself.
In the two weeks that slowly drifted by, Adrien hadn't eaten, slept, or left his room. Ladybug continued to visit him;to shed life back into his heart. His heart was stuck between a rock and a hard place and it inevitably wasn't coming back any time soon. The only time he left his room for barely more than two hours was during his father's burial and funeral. Adrien gave a short speech about his father's legacy and that he would never be forgotten. Ladybug saw his tear-streaked face as he spoke each word with such precision and harshness. When he finally saw the crossed grave, it was as if he lost the will to live. He had already lost his mother, now his father, who would be next?
"Alright, enough's enough!"
Adrien snapped out of his dreamlike daze and finally noticed Ladybug staring back at him with an annoyed expression.
"I'm sorry, what? When did you get in here?" Adrien asked confused.
Ladybug was growing more annoyed by the second. "Two hours ago you dork." Normally, Adrien would have replayed wittily to her snarky comment while wiggling his eyebrows, but Adrien's soul was missing.
Ladybug snatched his hand and tugged him toward the doors. "Where are we going?" Adrien asked in a monotone voice.
"Somewhere so I can slap some sense into you." Ladybug replied haughtily. Adrien didn't have anything to say to that so he wisely stayed quiet, but he had no reason to care anymore.
