Chapter 1131 (Review/Final Results Edition)

"Despite the break week, we got ourselves a great set up chapter since Emperor Luffy & his 2 wings are needed now more than ever!"

The latest chapter kicks off with the Wano mini-arc where there's a Sumo tournament in Hakumai, and Sukune the Yokozuna, Urashima's brother, got thrown away by Yamato!

The chapter starts where the last one ended with the Giants trying to bring Dorry & Brogy, as well as the other possessed giants back to their old selves.

Unfortunately, they couldn't do anything, and more giants become demons one by one.

In a double spread, as the giants were trying to rescue the children, more monsters from the kid's dream keep coming out of nowhere.

In the midst of the chaos, Killingham transforms into his hybrid form, a striking centaur with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a Qilin, white clouds still swirling around his head and torso. His human form sports short hair, long lower lashes, and sharp teeth, reminiscent of Hody Jones' menacing face. Gripping a horn, he commands the MMA with fierce authority. "Now things are heating up!" Killingham roars. "No more holding back—the Great One is here! Rampage as you will, MMA! These monsters are your creation, people of Elbaph!"

At the same time, Usopp also tries to reach out to Dorry & Brogy, but even he wasn't successful.

Sommers then asked Imu/Gunko how long are they going to do this, and they declare that their intent to shatter Elbaph's spirit completely.

A flashback unfolds, showing the moment when Gaban and Chopper plummeted from the "Sun World" to the "Underworld." Chopper saves Gaban using a massive Guard Point to cushion their fall.

Meanwhile, Loki and Hajrudin clash over the mystery surrounding King Harald’s fate. Loki demands that Hajrudin kneel to hear more, but Hajrudin refuses, unwilling to listen to the man who killed his father. Their argument is interrupted when Luffy speaks up.

"Hey! Chopper just fell," Luffy says.

Sanji blinks, startled. "There was a loud crash, but you saw who it was?"

"Nope," Luffy replies casually.

Loki chimes in, "It does seem like someone fell—beyond the mountains!"

Luffy tilts his head. "Why’d I know it was Chopper? And there’s someone else with him, really weak."

Sanji’s eyes widen. "If that’s true, this is serious. Did they fall from the Sun World?"

Zoro cuts in, "Let’s go find them, now."

As Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji rush to rescue Chopper and the stranger, Mosa s Loki, warning that this might be their last communication due to an unfolding crisis.

After istering first aid to the injured man, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji realize his true identity.

Luffy’s jaw drops. "Whaaat?! This old guy was part of the Pirate King’s crew? He sailed with Roger and Rayleigh?!"

Hajrudin nods solemnly. "He was one of the Pirate King’s ‘wings,’ alongside Rayleigh. In strength, he was likely number three."

Luffy’s eyes light up. "Whaaat?! So he knows Shanks too?!"

Though barely able to move, Gaban raises two shaky fingers. "I was… Number… Two…" he mutters, drawing a laugh from the group.

Hajrudin wonders how a man of Gaban’s caliber ended up in such a state. Chopper explains that children were taken hostage, preventing them from fighting back despite facing only a handful of enemies. He adds that enormous monsters appeared as well. Suddenly, everyone feels a tremendous surge of Supreme King Haki, the same overwhelming presence from Chapter 1,150.

Gaban gasps, "Hey… now… this Haki…"

Zoro’s eyes narrow. "What the?!"

Gerd shudders. "What is this…?"

The chapter closes with everyone staring toward the Sun World, worry etched on their faces—except for Loki, who laughs maniacally.

Hajrudin barks, "Everyone, to the Lift! We’re heading back to the Sun World now! Elbaph is in danger!"

Luffy turns to Chopper, realization dawning. "Chopper, I get it now!"

Loki cackles, "Who was that?! That Haki was insane! Dogahaha, you need it, don’t you? You need my power!"

With that, the chapter ends with a break next week.

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter:

1. When Gaban talked about how he was the 2nd strongest person in the Roger Pirate right after Roger himself, I now wonder if he & Rayleigh had a rivalry similar to what Sanji & Zoro have today.

2. As soon as Luffy meets Imu/Gunko, I want to know is whether or not we'll get another Roof Piece moment that will go down in One Piece history?!

- Ability to theorizes future events (10/10)
