Ladybug tugged on the steel chains that linked her wrists and ankles to the mossy stone brick dungeon wall. She tried pulling on them with as much strength as she could muster, but no luck. At this rate, they were never going to get out of here. Felix's grim words haunted her mind.
"It's too late girly. I've already won."
The nerve of him. She was so going to suck in a great punch at his laughable, annoying face. Ladybug relished at the thought of packing in a few punches to his gut as well. That will so hurt. Yeah, she was trying her best to stay positive. Negativity will get them no where.
Ladybug glanced across the jail room to find Adrien's crestfallen face clouded with absolute misery. She hated seeing in so miserable. He was always a ray of sunshine to her; the essence of light itself. And when his eyes lit up from excitement, his gorgeous green eyes would shine brighter than light itself.
Now, there was no light. Nothing, but the darkness overwhelming and taking over his very existence. Ladybug was not going to let that happen.
She tried to make talk instead; to the time since there was no chance of getting out of here. And the guards were nice enough to take off those wretched gags.
"Adrien?," Ladybug lifted her head to see her beloved. "Are you okay? I know we kind of got ourselves into a quite the...predicament."
"What do you mean?," Adrien's harsh voice cutting like a knife through the tranquil environment. "It's just that we got ourselves locked in a dungeon by my brother who plans on killing us and taking over the Northern kingdom so yeah I'm just plain peachy." He said sarcastically.
"We have to think positive if we want to get out of here alive if we're lucky." Ladybug scolded him.
"Aren't you the heroine of luck?" Adrien asked sheepishly; chuckling at his own joke to lighten the tense mood.
Ladybug groaned. He was as bad as Cat Noir making these ridiculous jokes at a time like this. At least, he's back in a joking spirit. Wait a second, Ladybug tuned out his cheerful laugh(Which by the way was really difficult since he's so gorgeous) and looked at his right hand on his ring finger. There was a large, silver ring wrapped around his finger. No way. He couldn't be...
Adrien stopped laughing once he noticed Ladybug's suddenly shocked face.
"Ladybug?" He asked quizzically.
"Cat Noir?!"
